As part of Wakam's hyper growth, our ambition is to Building the Internal Audit and Supervisory Relationship function at Wakam. The challenge is great, the playing field is vast, and the long-term development perspectives are open!

The following are the key responsibilities of our future internal audit leader:

• Define a vision for the internal audit function at Wakam
• Take inventory of the existing and past
• Build a plan for the internalization of the function at group level
• Carry out the audit program in collaboration with our external service providers
• Recruit and ramp up the audit team on Wakam's activities
• Ensure the integral management of audit missions
• Propose and follow up on recommendations and corresponding action plans
• Challenge and improve our audit methodology
• Present reports to the Audit and Risk Committee
• Serve as a gateway for all supervisory authorities in Europe
• Coordinate, within Wakam, all supervisory related activities
• Act as a facilitator for the Compliance team & the Senior Management

✯ The Profile we are looking at

Qualifications & experience :

• Engineering, Business School or University Master Degree : Audit; Legal, Compliance, Risk Management
• Experience : minimum 7 years on a similar function within an Insurance Company, Consulting Firm or Supervisory Authority specialized in the financial sector
• Proven leadership & people management experience
• Ability to project a strategic vision
• Synthetic and perfect analytical writing skills
• Fluency in oral and written English

Your working mindset :

• Comfortable working independently as well as in a team environment
• Excellent communication skills and diplomacy
• Natural authority and high level of maturity
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects
