Job description

  • Creating and delivering content and articles to put forward Voodoo’s publishing firepower for studios
  • Gather and share knowledge with internal and external studios through new and existing channels
  • Working alongside the team’s Brand & Visual Designer to create copy for visual assets or the Voodoo website  when necessary 
  • Manage internal resources and freelancers when necessary to reach our content goals
  • Collaborate with designers, PR and other professionals on small and large scale projects (e.g. press releases, email campaigns, and landing pages)
  • Collaborate closely with the Publishing team to develop and challenge processes to improve the overall Publishing content strategy
  • Help develop Voodoo’s studio community through studio-to-studio knowledge sharing and events
  • Profile

  • Excellent writing, editing and proofreading skills 
  • Bilingual in French and English
  • Proven experience as a copywriter, content writer, or a related role
  • Knowledge of online content strategy and creation
  • Strong research skills
  • Ability to change directions quickly based on business, project, and team needs
  • A creative mindset to build innovative content
  • Great organizational skills
  • A strong understanding of the media landscape (market and mass media)
