🔎 The Role: People & Operations Manager (m/f/d) 

As we grow our team and customer base in France, we’re looking for a People & Operations Manager who brings passion for people topics, strong organizational skills, and solid knowledge of French HR and administrative processes. In this role, you'll be the go-to person for all employee-related and operational matters in France—helping us create an environment where people thrive and our business runs smoothly.

💼 Your Key Responsibilities

On a given day, as a People & Operations Manager, you will:

  • Be the first point of contact for our French team regarding all HR topics
  • Take care of employee lifecycle processes (Onboarding, Offboarding, Changes, etc.)
  • Ensure legal compliance with local labor laws and maintain HR documentation
  • Coordinate and improve administrative processes (e.g. contract management or payroll input)
  • Take over all recruiting activities for France, including interviewing and the full responsibility for the applicant journey
  • Proactively develop and optimize internal processes for better collaboration and efficiency as well as owning local people projects
  • Handle office and operational topics such as fleet management and incoming/outgoing mail

    🌟 We would be the perfect match if you: 

    • You bring 3+ years of experience in a generalist HR/People role, ideally in a growing company
    • You have solid knowledge of French labor law and HR practices
    • You enjoy administrative work and keeping things organized
    • You are proactive, reliable, and a great communicator
    • You speak fluent French and have a solid command of English (written and spoken) as we are working in an international working environment and internal first language is English 
    • You are based in Paris and are familiar with local regulations and administrative requirements

    1. Kickoff Chat (30-45 mins): Start with a friendly virtual chat with Amelie (VP People & culture), to explore practical aspects and get a feel for our culture and the opportunity, conducted in English. 

    2. Showcase Your Skills (1 hour): Meet Amelie and Stef, legal consultant, for a case where you can shine by demonstrating your P&C Knowledge and organisational strength, conducted in English. 

    3. Leadership Chat (15-30 mins): A conversation with Patrick, our Managing Director, conducted in English. 

    4. Onsite Team Meet: A chance to meet the french team either virtually or in person, based on availability.


      💰 What We Offer:

      Competitive Salary: Base €40-50k on full time equivialent
