Descriptif du poste

At Vestiaire Collective, we are committed to delivering the best experience for our loyal community of buyers and sellers. We are growing our team and our business into a global brand and becoming the leaders in circularity in fashion. We want everyone we work with to be change-makers, to think differently, and to innovate without compromise.

Vestiaire Collective is looking for a “Data and Insights Analyst - Operations” (F/M/D) to join the FP&A team.

About the role

The FP&A Data and Insights Analyst will support the Finance team in driving decision-making through data-centric approaches and in setting the infrastructure that helps it scale. This role involves transforming large sets of data into actionable insights that drive profitability and growth. Working closely with both the Business Intelligence and Technology teams, the ideal candidate will help design and execute FP&A tools and processes.

You will report to the FP&A Manager – Operations. This is an amazing opportunity to accelerate your career development, combining the fast pace of a Unicorn and the rigorous financial management of more mature companies.

What you’ll do

  • Support the development of tools and processes that aid in the development of plans, budgets, and forecasts in a scalable and replicable way
  • Lead discussions with other teams regarding data architecture, data structures (e.g. granularity, sizing, etc) that best support decision making in FP&A
  • Partner with other teams to create and maintain tools that support storytelling. Be the primary FP&A contact on topics like data warehousing, dashboard specification, data extracts, etc. You will be the right hand of Business Intelligence teams to channel clear specs and provide feedback
  • Participate in automation projects that help improve internal FP&A processes (including month closing, forecasting, etc.)
  • Be the gatekeeper of high data quality and fidelity. This might involve setting processes to cross-check data, detect outliers, etc.

Who you are

  • Master’s Degree in Math, Statistics, Computer Science or related field
  • 2-3 years experience as a Business/Data Analyst or related specialty (e.g. Data Engineer) with track record in a role focused on understanding, manipulating, processing and extracting value from large datasets
  • Knowledge of concepts relating to SQL, relational databases, and forecasting techniques
  • Experience on dealing with Business Intelligence projects. Project management exposure is a plus
  • Excellent English proficiency (working language is English). French is a strong plus
  • Overachiever, used to coping with challenging projects, adapting to changing environment, under high pressure and short timelines
  • Proficient in Excel, and in Data Mining and Data Viz (SQL, Snowflake, and Tableau)

What we offer

  • A meaningful job with an impact on the way people consume fashion, to cut down waste, because we save the planet, our way
  • An exciting job on a permanent term contract in our Paris office where you will be able to express your creativity and potential
  • The possibility to work remotely 50% of your time!
  • The opportunity to grow in a booming French-born scale up in a super dynamic FP&A team, with large exposure to Executive team, playing a critical role on key strategic projects
