About the role

Due to internal promotion, Trustpair is searching for a KYS Analyst to join our High Risk team. Situated within our Ops Department, our KYS teams work to collect and process third-party data to verify payment information and detect possible risks of fraud. 

We have three teams: Collection, Contact & High Risk. Each work on their own scope, towards the overall goal of ensuring Trustpair's confirmation rate for account validation increases. Our High Risk team are the fraud experts of the company, bringing human expertise that complements the digital & data part of our solution, in particular on sensitive cases. 


What you'll do:

Based in the High-Risk team, you'll work alongside Alma, Arnaud, Alexandra, Pedro & Sara on processing and analysing high-risk KYS cases. Other key responsibilities include:

Operational Processing of Sensitive Cases (High Risk KYS & Manual External Source Checks)

  • Conduct comprehensive 360-degree analyses of third parties' payment details to identify potential risks and safeguard our clients against wire transfer fraud
    • Collecting contact information on third parties
    • Contacting third parties based in France and overseas via telephone and/or email to verify their payment details
    • Analysing elements of KYS documents to assess potential risks and provide final evaluations to clients
  • Address clients email inquiries, and provide them with valuable insights relating to KYS evaluations
  • Evaluate third parties' payment details by consulting external sources

Team Collaboration

  • Contributing to team discussions & testing new tools to optimize existing processes and enhance organizational efficiency
  • Collaborating closely with the other KYS teams, as well as the CSM & Sales to ensure customer satisfaction

    This position is hybrid remote, based in Paris 
    Working hours are 9am-5pm Monday to Friday (35h contract)

    Must-Haves:

    • Prior experience in KYC/ KYS/ Fraud Investigations or analysis is preferred
    • Comfortable working with a variety of digital tools (our team use Forest Admin, Slack, Notion, Intercom, Aircall etc)
    • You have excellent interpersonal and can communicate with various stakeholders effectively (your colleagues, customers, third-parties)
    • You are methodical, rigorous and detail-oriented and use these skills in analysis
    • Able to adapt to working in fast paced start-up and manage your workload and projects well
    • You can be relied on to take your work seriously, especially when handling sensitive data
    • Fluent in English (French is a plus)
