SEO Analyst @TheFork

TheFork is looking for an SEO Analyst to support its SEO Manager. Based in the TheFork Paris HQ and operating inside the Product team, you will be directly reporting to the SEO Manager to optimize websites in all our target countries (23 countries in 12 languages).

Key responsibilities :

Central SEO

  • Report and analyse SEO KPIs to provide insights and bring new ideas to our SEO strategy, working closely with our Data Team.
  • Run technical SEO Analysis on a regular basis, identify new ways of improvement (internal linking, crawl rate…)
  • Monitor closely the changes introduced on our websites, identify bugs/regressions and keep a clean and SEO friendly structure.
  • Manage the creation, linking and indexing of new content pages.
  • Define SEO projects/bets and follow their implementation with our technical team and our product managers.
  • Define and launch SEO AB tests (Title and meta-descriptions tests, new SEO features, SXO changes …)
  • Support company priorities (SEO migrations, renamings, legacy features decommissioning…)
  • Promote and evangelize SEO best practices for both marketing and technical teams. Communicate broadly around SEO successes.
  • Monitor and analyse competitors to inform our SEO strategy
  • Follow current news and trends in the SEO and food industries

Local SEO

  • Promote and evangelize SEO best practices for local marketing teams, communicate on SEO successes
  • Drive our local SEO “champions”: help them building their local SEO roadmap, train regularly them to achieve SEO basic tasks (keyword research on SEMRush, competition analysis, creation of content and new opportunities…)
  • Validate SEO local strategies and follow-up the delivery with each champion regularly.
  • Help them implementing a link building strategy locally, with a strict respect of SEO best practices.

Qualifications

3-4 years experience in a full-time SEO position (in-house, agency or consultant)

  • Thorough knowledge and curiosity around search engine ranking factors and critical updates
  • Solid understanding of HTML
  • You have already worked on websites using a JS framework (React, Vue JS…) during your previous experiences.
  • Experience with major SEO tools: Botify, Screaming Frog, SEO Radar, Majestic SEO, AHrefs, Google Search Console, Google Keyword Planner, Moz, SEM Rush…
  • Excellent mastery of Excel and Google Analytics. An experience with Data visualization tools (Reeport, Google Data Studio…) would be appreciated.
  • Experience with Data manipulation tools (Snowflake) and basic SQL skills would be appreciated.
  • Strong organizational skills, autonomy and the ability to prioritize daily workload.
  • Good writing skills
  • You must be passionate and eager to share your passion to all TheFork stakeholders, accepting that your ideas could be challenged sometimes.
  • You must be fluent in English and eager to work in a multicultural environment (daily interactions with local country teams and the TripAdvisor SEO team). A second European language (Spanish, Italian, Portuguese, Swedish, Danish, Turkish) would be appreciated.
