Who are they?

Stockly permet aux e-commerçants de continuer à vendre même lorsqu’ils sont en rupture de stock en les connectant à un réseau de fournisseurs. En construisant le premier stock mutualisé, Stockly transforme la rupture de stock en force. En effet, près de 30% des consommateurs confrontés à ce problème abandonnent leur panier d’achat car un des produits souhaités était en rupture.

L’équipe de Stockly fait face à des défis variés aussi bien sur l’aspect business que technique ou encore logistique. Internationale dès ses débuts, Stockly doit gérer des problématiques de variabilité de modèles et de volumes de données au quotidien.

Les équipes TechOps, Engine, BI, Back-office, Ops, Sales et Admin travaillent ensemble à la résolution de ce problème !

Job description

Who we are - Stockly

🔭 Stockly is a tech-retail company solving the supply/demand mismatch in e-commerce.

  • With our technology, we connect in real-time e-commerce websites in need for stock with the inventory of hundreds of other retailers who have the same products available, and who can fulfill the order on their behalf.

  • E-retailers can keep selling products that are out-of-stock, while others can gain additional sales, in a seamless experience for the end-consumer.

🚀 We’ve already raised $20M+ with European top-tier investors among which Daphni, Eurazeo and Raise. Our proprietarytechnology, coded in-house from scratch, is already live across Europewith 300+ e-retailers, we grow x4 each year and won’t stop there.

The Position

🔎 In a nutshell, what we look for?

We are looking for a smart and talented full-time team-member to join our Business team. This team is already composed of 6 amazing members (e.g. Matthieu, Ilayda, Yann). Due to our strong growth, this number is likely to increase quite rapidly.

We are looking for a CDI to start as soon as possible.

🏈 About your future Team

The Business team is in charge of both signing new partners and maintaining the relationship with existing ones. The team has a pivotal role in Stockly’s growth and has already successfully signed and satisfied hundreds of suppliers.

Over the past years typical missions of the team would include:

  • Reach more than 300 suppliers in the Stockly network
  • Supervising the integration process for new partners, both internally and with the partner
  • Identifying new opportunities within the network of either increasing GMV or reducing the number of Operations actions per € of GMV
  • Monitoring our pool of supply and ensuring a quality of service adaptable to any partner
  • Detect, analyze and solve all abnormal behaviors, errors or mistakes from suppliers

🎯 Objectives: what could be examples of your first quarter objectives?

  • Objective: Close a contract with 15 new retailers and 5 new brands

  • Performance measurement: number of closings

  • Tasks: manage the deal from A to Z (finding the partner, contacting him, convincing, sending contract…)

  • Objective: Ensure 100% retention rate with existing partners

  • Performance measurement: number of partners that churn

  • Tasks: maintain regular contacts, respond to questions and worries from partners

🥊 Challenges: what are the challenges / problems you will solve?

  • Deal with a lot of complexity specific (or not) to some partners, in an ever-expanding technical environment
  • Find the right retailers to target, make first contact with them
  • Lead calls to understand how they work, pitch them the deal you’d like to offer them
  • Lead the negotiations with the retailers both future and existing ones, be tenacious to demonstrate the value of Stockly for them
  • Prepare the contracts and close the deal
  • Manage side-projects to improve the overall team’s performances
  • Deal with different cultures & backgrounds

  • How e-commerce works, the business models, the technology used, the problems the retailers encounter every day
  • How to pitch to a very large variety of players (we work with retailers all over European Union, with very various cultures, languages and backgrounds)

  • How to create strong and reliable business relationships with other companies
  • How to use the sharpest tools
  • How to create the best processes to keep the organization super efficient and to help you reach your objectives
