We are currently searching for an IoT Project Manager. The role is to support a project director to help our real estate clients align their IoT/data architecture with their portfolio strategy and imagine new services for tenants.

The candidate is expected to have developed strong project management skills and client relationship with asset managers, property managers or corporate tenants. This role requires to closely manage a large variety of technical project implementations across Europe with institutional investors, investment funds and REITs. 

The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and implementing projects within the decided-upon budget, timeline, and scope. They will also effectively monitor and present project updates to relevant stakeholders, clients, or project team members. Project management oversees the operation and IoT maintenance of buildings.

Responsibilities

Project management duties may include but not limited to: 

• Manage relationship with clients on the execution of end-to-end smart upgrade and data collection projects.

• Conduct building visits and interviews with clients’ asset managers, architects, services providers and key contractors.

• Identify existing/potential technical equipment and services to integrate.

• Sourcing contractors and suppliers for installations, repairs and maintenance of IoT systems.

• Leading the delivery of projects ensuring the complexity, cost and planning.

• Ensure the maintenance of installed IoT systems and manage contractors for maintenance.

• Develop robust building IoT/data architecture in close collaboration with Square Sense’s data engineers and data scientists.

Business intelligence and cross challenges

• Constantly look for innovative products to be integrated in Square Sense platform.

• Communicate between all key stakeholders on status of projects and continually assess the working timeline for potential issues and advise.

• Communicate with software engineering teams and define clear objectives for data collection and other use of IoT.

• Support other teams as data engineering, business development and product development

• A master’s degree, engineering school diploma or equivalent

• 1-3 year experience in design & build project management, smart building or relevant field in real estate.

• Excellent verbal & written communication skills.

• Strong problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.

• Fluent in French and English. Any other European language

Is a plus :

• Experience using data from IoT in various formats from various communications protocols

• Knowledge of environmental real estate certifications and regulations

• Knowledge of databases/analytics (SQL, PowerBI)
