Are you eager to bring your talents to a fast growing startup and help farmers store CO2 by transitioning towards regenerative agriculture?

Soil Capital is a mission-driven company with expertise in regenerative agriculture and low-carbon transition of agricultural systems. Operating internationally, Soil Capital’s ambition is to accompany farmers in the transition of one million hectares to more profitable and regenerative agriculture by 2025.

We have developed Europe’s first certified carbon payment programme for farmers, called Soil Capital Carbon. It allows farmers to measure and certify their carbon footprint each year, while valuing their reduced carbon emissions and/or increased soil carbon storage on the carbon markets. Agricultural and food companies use Soil Capital Carbon as a transition tool to engage their farmers in a certified low-carbon approach and build new value opportunities through the development of certified low-carbon value chains.

Soil Capital Carbon is supported by mySoilCapital, a farmer and partner portal that collects, processes and delivers data so that farmers and partners can implement better regenerative and low carbon agriculture.

We are looking for a Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our People team based in Belgium! You will work closely with our HR Specialist and report to our Head of Finance. You will have a position with responsibilities spanning from handling the entire recruitment cycle to managing the Talent pool of Soil Capital.

This position requires someone who is organized, adaptive, people-centric, and possesses exceptional communication skills. The ideal candidate should thrive in a dynamic environment of a fast-growing company where he/she will be instrumental in supporting our rapid expansion, addressing the challenges of scaling our team, and deeply committed to fostering a culture of inclusivity, collaboration, and excellence.

Context: Growth of the company

Location: Louvain-la-neuve, Belgium.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead strategic recruitment initiatives to support Soil Capital’s rapid growth, focusing on attracting and retaining top talent in line with our culture and values.

  • Design and implement creative recruiting strategies to meet the evolving staffing needs as we aim to double our size within two years.

  • Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, ensuring a positive candidate experience that reflects our commitment to sustainability and inclusivity.

  • Manage and coordinate relationships with recruitment agencies, ensuring effective communication and collaboration to meet hiring needs and objectives.

  • Engage in proactive talent mapping and pipeline development to prepare for future hiring needs and organizational expansion.


Profil recherché

What about you?

  • You have a strong interest in Soil Capital’s environmental and social mission

  • You love working as a team but feel as confortable working autonomously

  • You have at least 3-4 years experience in recruitment and you look forward to developing experience in Talent management.

  • Experience in hard HR/ People Operation is a plus.

  • You are creative, intuitive and proactive, thriving for the best employee experience

  • You are fluent in French & English
