Responsibilities

The Sales Business Management Office focuses on building, managing & optimizing all sales processes from pre-trade and post-trade. It ensures the best service is offered to MARK clients by monitoring, reviewing and transforming existing processes. It also provides the Sales management with relevant tools and indicators to ensure the efficiency of the commercial set-up.

Responsabilities:

  • Contribute to the development and transformation of MARK Sales with a specific focus on Cross Asset Sales (XAS) activities in Asia by :
    • Supporting Sales production task for the MARK XAS Business line, whether on daily, weekly or monthly basis
    • Assisting key MARK Sales projects having strong impacts on clients
    • Accompanying regulatory changes impacting our businesses
    • Maintaining the alignment of MARK Sales objectives with those of support and control functions
    • Preparing and updating presentations and reports
  • Ensure MARK Sales Asia businesses are properly run, controlled and protected by :
    • Securing the framework of our commercial franchise/ Identifying areas of operational risks and take corrective actions to remediate them
    • Review of Internal Procedure & perform controls on the activity
    • Monitor and support the Cross-Asset Sales (XAS) activity in Asia: provide advisory and guidance on new transactions, new products and new distribution set-up; be part of onboarding of distributor process, control compliance with rules and guidelines

A questionnaire will be provided to you in order to check your VIE (Société Générale and Business France) eligibility. For an efficient analysis of your application, please make sure to truthfully answer all the questions.

Please note that for the missions outside the European countries, a VISA is necessary. Please make sure your passport is valid up to 6 months after the end of the VIE contract to not delay your departure. Otherwise, we strongly advise you to launch asap the renewal of your passport.

Profile required

PLEASE NOTE that since this program is primarily an international development program, candidates cannot apply to a VIE assignment in their own country of citizenship.

Studies & experience:
  • Graduate with a Master degree from Business/Engineering School or University
  • A previous experience in market finance would be highly appreciated

Language skills:
  • Fluent English is a must

Technical, operational & soft skills:
  • Good communication and presentation skills
  • Proficient/Good command of MS Office
  • Positive, can-do attitude, team spirit, collective mindset
  • Capable to work in a fast paced environment


The VIE assignment in a nutshell

This VIE in Hong Kong is to begin as soon as possible, but you need to plan 3 months between your application date and the beginning of your VIE assignment. It will last 12 months.

In case a visa is necessary, please make sure your passport is valid up to 6 months after the end of the VIE contract to not delay your departure.

The VIE is a specific contract, under Business France's eligibility criteria, opened to candidates under 28 and from the member states of the European Economic Space. For further information (including your financial indemnities), please see Mon VIE-VIA Business France
