Responsibilities

GBTO/MAR/REG is the department dedicated to the production of regulatory (EMIR, MIFID, SFTR, MMSR) and tax reportings (FATCA, CRS, QI) of the bank. It is responsible for the quality of the information sent to regulators and thus plays a key role in ensuring the compliance of the bank with regulatory constraints and expectations. It also contributes to challenging regulatory projects.

Responsibilities :

  • Production and control of transactional regulatory reportings (EMIR, MIFID, SFTR, MMSR)
  • Production of key indicators on activity
  • Production of operational committees documentation and participation to committees
  • Follow up of the quality of externalized services
  • Process automation and optimization
  • Assistance to the production of tax reportings (FATCA, CRS)

A questionnaire will be provided to you in order to check your VIE (Société Générale and Business France) eligibility. For an efficient analysis of your application, please make sure to truthfully answer all the questions.

Profile required

PLEASE NOTE that since this program is primarily an international development program, candidates cannot apply to a VIE assignment in their own country of citizenship.

Studies & experience:
  • Graduate with a Master degree from Business/Engineering School or University with a specialization in Finance
  • A previous experience in the banking industry would be appreciated

Language skills:
  • Fluent in English

Technical, operational & soft skills:
  • Good knowledge of products such as derivatives, loans, repos, ...
  • Good communication and presentation skills
  • Proficient / Good command of MS Office - VBA and/or Python skills would be appreciated


The VIE assignment in a nutshell

This VIE in Luxembourg is to begin as soon as possible but you need to plan 3 months between your application date and the beginning of your VIE assignment. It will last 12 months.

The VIE is a specific contract, under Business France's eligibility criteria, opened to candidates under 28 and from the member states of the European Economic Space. For further information (including your financial indemnities), please see Mon VIE-VIA Business France.
