Responsibilities

Within SGSS SPA, the "Business and Industrial Projects" organizational unit is responsible for managing the Project Portfolio and all business transformation projects (business, regulatory and innovation). It is part of the Transformation and Technology Delivery department which focuses on leading and managing the implementation of technological solutions and digital transformation initiatives.

We are looking for a V.I.E. Project Management/PMO to join the TTD/BIP Department, whose mission is to manage project assigned in line with the Bank's strategy. This is delivered by following the guidelines and performance objectives of the General Management of SGSS SPA and setting up and applying tools and project management processes in order to guarantee the smooth running and efficiency of initiativess within the Bank.

Under the supervision of the Head of TTD/BIP, the V.I.E. will assist in project management for various projects, ensuring operational follow-up and guaranteeing cost, deadline, performance and quality objectives.

As Project Manager, the main missions are:

  • Coordinating internal/external resources for the flawless execution of projects
  • Ensuring that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget
  • Ensuring resource availability and allocation
  • Cooperation in monitoring and improving the quality and efficiency of all processes included on the projects in order to be useful on process mapping activity.
  • The PM is responsible for the success of the assigned projects.

As PMO, main responsability is to support project's PM in formalization and methodology.

Profile required

PLEASE NOTE that since this program is primarily an international development program, candidates cannot apply for a VIE assignment in their own country of citizenship.

Studies & experience:
  • Graduate with a Master degree from Business/Engineering School or University with a specialization in Project Management would be appreciated
  • A previous experience in project management would be appreciated

Language skills:
  • Fluent in English (B2-C1)

Technical, operational & Soft skills:
  • Proficient/Good command of MS Office 365
  • Good communication and presentation skills
  • Excellent organizational and planning abilities
  • Highly motivated, proactive and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment


The VIE assignment in a nutshell

This VIE in Italy is to begin September 1st, 2025, but you need to plan 3 months between your application date and the beginning of your VIE assignment. It will last 12 months.

In case a visa is necessary, please make sure your passport is valid up to 6 months after the end of the VIE contract to not delay your departure.

The VIE is a specific contract, under Business France's eligibility criteria, opened to candidates under 28 and from the member states of the European Economic Space. For further information (including your financial indemnities), please see Mon VIE-VIA Business France.
