Le poste

Descriptif du poste

We seek a proactive network engineering intern to join our development team.

Skynopy is deploying a secure and high-performance network to interconnect its Radio Frequency Laboratory (RF Lab) with AWS. This includes a guaranteed fiber connection and advanced technologies in securing this tunnel for control and data flow.

The end goal is to implement a reliable and scalable SDWAN architecture.

1. Design and implement a first secured connectivity link between RF Lab & AWS:

  • Implement a first concrete high data rate connectivity link between our RF lab and AWS through the supply of a dedicated fiber from an operator.

  • Secure the link through a VPN solution after providing a comparison between a traditional IPSec solution versus state-of-the-art solutions such as Twingate, Snowpack, and others.

  • Help design an SDWAN solution to enable the scaling of this first test case to all our ground stations.

2. Design the RF Lab network to protect public-facing services and ensure functional operation:

  • Design a secured segmented architecture to isolate and protect public-facing services. Ensure proper integration of the DMZ with existing infrastructures, helped by third-party specialized companies.

  • Deploy and configure firewalls, routing rules, and access control lists.

  • Conduct vulnerability assessments to validate the segmentation security.
