We seek a proactive network engineering intern to join our development team.
Skynopy is deploying a secure and high-performance network to interconnect its Radio Frequency Laboratory (RF Lab) with AWS. This includes a guaranteed fiber connection and advanced technologies in securing this tunnel for control and data flow.
The end goal is to implement a reliable and scalable SDWAN architecture.
1. Design and implement a first secured connectivity link between RF Lab & AWS:
Implement a first concrete high data rate connectivity link between our RF lab and AWS through the supply of a dedicated fiber from an operator.
Secure the link through a VPN solution after providing a comparison between a traditional IPSec solution versus state-of-the-art solutions such as Twingate, Snowpack, and others.
Help design an SDWAN solution to enable the scaling of this first test case to all our ground stations.
2. Design the RF Lab network to protect public-facing services and ensure functional operation:
Design a secured segmented architecture to isolate and protect public-facing services. Ensure proper integration of the DMZ with existing infrastructures, helped by third-party specialized companies.
Deploy and configure firewalls, routing rules, and access control lists.
Conduct vulnerability assessments to validate the segmentation security.
