We’re building a lean, high-impact Strategic Initiatives team to act as a bridge between our scientific efforts, strategic priorities, and key external partners & customers. This team helps structure our bets, align our research roadmap with market and partnership needs, and ensure the right execution tempo across the company.
As Program & Strategy Specialist, you’ll join the Strategic Initiatives team—a lean, fast pace, high-context group focused on aligning research, execution, and strategic priorities. Your role will sit at the intersection of science, operations, and decision-making
You will:
Coordinate cross-functional research programs, helping break down long-term scientific goals into actionable components and delivery milestones;
Work closely with researchers to shape and package “components”—intermediate building blocks of the Brain Foundation Model—ensuring they are well-defined, prioritised, and aligned with both scientific curiosity and application needs;
Orchestrate working rhythms: set up and facilitate lightweight sprint cycles, track progress, and help teams stay focused and aligned on priorities without introducing unnecessary overhead;
Translate our research roadmap into execution plans, making sure strategic intent turns into real, measurable progress;
Identify and shape our next strategic bets—whether scientific, technical, or ecosystem-related—by analysing signals, constraints, and opportunities;
Collaborate with external partners to align their expectations with internal timelines and priorities, acting as a key point of contact and coordination.
You’ll work closely with Theodor (Business Analyst) and collaborate directly with the research teams, with deep exposure to both strategic discussions and day-to-day operations.
3–6 years of experience in a demanding environment – strategy consulting, ops/strategy roles in deeptech startups, venture studios, or similar;
Strong ability to bring structure to ambiguity and connect the dots across science, product, and business;
Genuine curiosity for science and technology – you don’t need to be an engineer/scientist, but you should be intellectually excited by what we’re building;
Comfortable operating in a highly cross-functional role, with exposure to both leadership and research teams;
Good interpersonal instincts – you’re thoughtful, pragmatic, and know how to work with highly diverse profiles.
