Post-Doctoral Fellow in Oncology
Are you a dynamic and innovative researcher passionate about advancing brain cancer treatment? We are seeking a post-doctoral fellow to join our oncology drug discovery team, focusing on Glioblastoma (GBM). This is a unique opportunity to play a crucial role in exploring DNA Damage Response (DDR) pathways in GBM, understanding its role in tumor progression/resistance and ultimately contributing to the development of novel therapeutic strategies.
Why Join Us?
- Impactful Research: Glioblastoma (GBM) is the most common, aggressive, and heterogeneous malignant brain tumor with a very high unmet need. DDR pathways are often altered and dysregulated in GBM tumors, contributing to resistance to conventional therapies. This highlights a significant medical need and an area ripe for innovative research.
- Innovative Environment: Lead efforts to dissect DNA damage and repair pathways in GBM, implementing new imaging technologies to measure DNA breaks and explore DDR in 2D & 3D GBM cellular models. Make a significant impact in oncology by addressing critical unmet medical needs.
- Collaborative Team: Work alongside multidisciplinary teams to ensure alignment and integration of research efforts with broader organizational goals.
Responsibilities :
- Design and implement relevant studies to explore DDR in GBM cellular models.
- Develop and implement new imaging technologies to measure DNA damage and associated DDR pathways, including biomarkers.
- Analyze data and propose the next steps in research.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams (e.g., In Vitro Pharmacology, US Research, Integrative Molecular Pharmacology, Translational Medicine).
- Follow literature in the field of DDR and GBM.
- Support associated projects with new findings. Present research findings at internal meetings.
- Prepare and publish scientific manuscripts.
