About the job

The new Console Experience team is responsible for an efficient, engaging and coherent experience on the Console. Therefore, they are covering Onboarding, Navigation, Dashboard, Support center and Offboarding.

Reporting to Antoine, the Engineering Manager, you will be in charge of developing back-end features to enable the team to have full hands on their features and improve the time to market. Depending on the features asked, you will also develop front-end features with your teammates.

  • Desired experience

  • At least 2 years of experience in back-end development
  • Experienced (or interested) in front-end development
  • Ability to write well-tested code
  • Good understanding of the HTTP protocol and REST APIs
  • Git fluency
  • Fluent in SQL no matter how many JOINs are involved
  • Eager to learn new things every day
  • Preferred qualifications

  • Experience with micro-service ecosystems
  • You have already deployed a production application on a cloud platform
  • Knowledge of gRPC and Protobuf
  • Fluent in golang
  • At ease with Typescript
  • Familiar with common DevOps tooling like Docker / CI-CD / Ansible
  • You have already worked on asynchronous workload (queue + worker)
  • You are fluent in both English and French
  • Responsibilities

  • Design, develop and maintain new features on micro-services owned by the team
  • Proactive to provide working products to users
  • Write simple, clean, coherent and well-tested codeTake every opportunity to reduce technical debt
  • Carefully review the team's merge requests
  • Actively participate in all team agile rituals (daily, retrospectives, etc.)
