Context and ambition

At Roundtable, launched early 2022 within the Hexa (ex- eFounders) startup studio, we’re building the infrastructure and social platform to democratise investment in private markets.

Thanks to a strong product-market-fit and a formidable growth of our customer base in 2025, we have established ourselves as a leading player in Europe. We opened Germany in 2024, Spain in 2025, and now officially launching Belgium in 2026.

In order to support our growth in Belgium and the Benelux markets, we are hiring for a Belgium Business Development Lead to join our sales team and accelerate our leadership in Europe.

The role is based in Brussels.

About the team

We are a team of 45+ at Roundtable today and counting. The sales team is currently composed of 9 people split across geographies (France, Germany, Spain…) and asset classes (Ventures, PE, Real Estate).

The French & New Market team is currently composed of Alexis, Antoine and Bianka. As a senior Sales opening the Belgium market, you will closely collaborate with our Growth, Ops and legal teams. As a very lean and horizontal structure, you will have daily interactions with the whole Roundtable team.

About the role

We are recruiting a Belgium Business Development Lead to support the penetration of the Belgium and Benelux markets.

As part of this role, you will:

  • Play an instrumental role in the overall Go-to-Market strategy for Belgium,

  • Build on the learnings of the successful commercialisation in France and Germany,

  • Identify and build the relevant partnerships to conquer the ecosystem with lawyers, incubators, and communities of angel investors,

  • Identify and attend key events to connect with our ecosystem,

  • Lead the complete sales cycle - from lead generation to deal closing:

    • Lead inbound and outbound activities with the growth and marketing team

    • Qualify leads by performing demos

    • Close deals by conducting sales calls with top founders, Angel syndicates, VCs and Family Offices for a broad range of deals, from €100k founder SPVs to over €20M pre-IPO secondaries)

    • Track potential churn and define solutions to prevent it.

As a key employee in an early-stage startup (we’re still a Seed company!), your role will be at the center of Roundtable’s strategy, with strong exposure to the investment and startup ecosystem.

Challenges :

The main challenges you will be confronted to are:

  • Market opening: you will be the one responsible for the success on this new market, with the support and experience of the whole sales team.

  • High-caliber stakeholders: you will interact with top European Founders and Business Angels, Venture capital Partners, Investment professionals and lawyers.

  • Challenging target audience: you will need to sustain very high-quality discussion.

  • Complex regulatory framework in Europe.


Profil recherché

  • Experience: You have 6+ years of experience in challenging environments/business development positions (e.g VC firms, high growth start-up).

  • Language: You speak and write French and English perfectly.

  • Interest: You are connected in the angel investing ecosystem and are driven by the private investment and the venture capital /private equity world.

  • Entrepreneurial mindset: you thrive in fast-paced environments where you have broad responsibilities.

  • Ownership mentality: you are a doer and have a bias for action, no task is below you.

  • Organization skills: you know how to prioritize and split your tasks efficiently.

  • Team player: you enjoy sharing and learning from each other.

  • Initiative and innovation: you have a strong drive for self-development, also you don’t hesitate to challenge best practices.

  • Customer focus: you are relentless in pursuing deals, enjoy solving problems for our customers and excited by the impact we create.

  • Strong attention to detail: you excel at managing high-stakes processes with multiple stakeholders involved.
