Context and ambition
At Roundtable, launched early 2022 within the eFounders/Hexa startup studio, we’re building the infrastructure and social platform to democratise investment in private markets.
Thanks to a strong product-market-fit and a formidable growth of our customer base in 2025, we have established ourselves as a leading player in Europe. We opened Germany in 2024, Spain in 2025, and are launching UK and Belgium in 2026.
In order to support our growth in France and new markets, we are hiring for a Senior Business Development position to join our sales team and accelerate our leadership in France and beyond.
The role is based in Paris (Rue du Sentier).
We are a team of 43+ at Roundtable and counting. The sales team is currently composed of 9 people split across geographies (France, Germany, Spain…) and asset classes (Ventures, PE, Real Estate).
The French & New Market team is composed of Alexis, Antoine and Bianka. As a senior Sales in this team, you will closely collaborate with our Growth, Ops and Legal teams. As a very lean and horizontal structure, you will have daily interactions with the whole Roundtable team.
We are recruiting a Senior Business Development team member to support the company’s growth and ensure a fast-growing expansion in our priority markets, with a primary focus in France.
We are now entering a new phase of growth, expanding both our geographies and asset classes, and onboarding Tier 1 clients (Syndicates, VCs, Family Officies, Investment Banks, Founders).
You will be a key contributor to deepen our leadership in France, working on sales, partnership and growth, and in participating in onboarding clients from new market in Europe and beyond.
As part of this role, you will:
Manage the complete sales cycle, from lead generation to deal closing:
Lead inbound and outbound activities with the growth and marketing team;
Qualify leads by performing demos;
Close deals by conducting sales calls with top founders, Angel syndicates, VCs and Family Offices;
Ensure the follow-up and support of the ongoing deals on the platform to ensure they convert into a concrete investment;
Track potential churn and define solutions to prevent it.
Build strategic partnerships with key actors of the ecosystem (lawyers, incubators, VCs).
Identify efficient ways to support the fundraising of founders and angel syndicates.
Ensure high level of automation along the way.
As a key employee in an early-stage startup (we’re still a Seed company!), your role will be at the center of Roundtable’s strategy, with strong exposure to the investment and startup ecosystem.

High-caliber stakeholders: you will interact with top European Founders and Business Angels, Venture capital Partners, Investment professionals and lawyers.
Challenging target audience: you will need to sustain very high-quality discussion.
Complex regulatory framework in Europe.
Multi-geography approach.
Experience: You have 4+ years of experience in challenging environments/business development positions (e.g VC firms, high growth start-up).
Language: You speak and write French and English perfectly.
Interest: You are connected in the angel investing ecosystem and are driven by the private investment and the venture capital /private equity world.
Entrepreneurial mindset: you thrive in fast-paced environments where you have broad responsibilities.
Ownership mentality: you are a doer and have a bias for action, no task is below you.
Organization skills: you know how to prioritize and split your tasks efficiently.
