From the partnership Eclevar and Quinten borned Eclevar Digital. Eclevar is one of the world’s most Innovative medical device CRO. With the partnership between Quinten and Eclevar we combine data science and clinical trial expertises in order to increase quality, deliver results faster and decrease the cost.

The company is expanding its practices and seeking a Director, Clinical Trials Business Development.
The role is focused on positioning our data warehouse to sell clinical trials to mid-tiered and big medical device companies across Europe.

Your responsibilities:

• Develop and implement a strategy to drive business development for new partnerships with medical device companies in the clinical trials space
• Drive business development activities directly with the potential over time to build a business development team in the clinical trials space
• Develop and implement business development playbook for pipeline and deal execution
• Track, manage and report on relevant medical device pipeline
• Leverage cross-functional teams across Finance, Legal, Strategy & Marketing, Sales, and Research & Development as needed to support new and developing partnerships
• Identify, evaluate, and contact prospective medical device companies
• Manage relationships and communication with medical device companies and have and understanding of their business model and how Eclevar can deliver value
• Manage and execute the end-to-end selling process with medical device companies
• Develop and maintain key relationships with medical device companies, partners to drive additional new business, and communicate account activity to Eclevar internal stakeholders


Profil recherché

• Bachelor’s degree with an emphasis in Business Administration or the life sciences required; MD, PhD, MBA or advanced degree with a focus in the life sciences preferred
• Extensive experience (10+ years) building and growing partnership programs with medical device companies in a business development, service sales, or professional consulting role
• Ability to independently procure and lead meetings with potential partners (VP level and above) at pharmaceutical and life science organizations, drawing from a substantial existing set of senior (including many VP and above) client contacts and other relationships
• Demonstrated track record of consistently exceeding revenue targets
• Ability to partner with clients and recommend solutions to add value to their business
• Ability to work with a wide variety of partners, across therapeutic areas, and technologies
• Understanding of and ability to confidently speak about the drug/medical device development process, clinical trials, and internal medical device organizational processes
• Understanding of molecular biology and profiling technologies including next generation sequencing preferred
• Comfortable in startup and rapid-growth environments
• Individual who is mission-driven and excited about the vision of Eclevar

  • Fluent both in English and French (as well written and spoken)
