Join us as our very first Lead General Accounting to steer Qonto toward our continuous growth trajectory! Your role will be to ensure global general accounting's ongoing accuracy and lead a skilled team across France and Germany. You will work in very close collaboration with Marjorie, our Head of Accounting & Consolidation, to reshape our accounting processes, and our standards, and drive change to support our success in the best way possible.



👩‍💻👨‍💻 As a Lead General Accounting at Qonto, you will:


Management: Manage a team of 3 General Accountants:

-> Onboard them on new topics, and ensure continuous improvement

-> Set up a balance sheet culture with a monthly closing objective of D+5

External stakeholders: Main point of contact for the Auditors

New accounting GAAP: Implementing any new accounting rules applicable to business

M&A: Participate actively in the integration of new acquisition

ERP: Be the main contributor to the new ERP implementation project

Teamwork: Be a main contact for consolidation lead, AP lead, finance transformation, and FP&A

🤝 About your future manager:


Marjorie, your future manager, brings a wealth of experience in accounting and consolidation gathered from her first years in audit and corporate environments. Her leadership style promotes autonomy, innovation, and a strong sense of team spirit.



🏅 About You:


• You have a solid background in accounting gathered in both audit/accounting advisory and corporate, with in-depth knowledge of French GAAP and IFRS (ideally DSCG or DCG)

• You have strategic thinking in line with business goals and also can roll up your sleeves when needed

Proficient with major ERP systems (e.g. SAP, Sage or Oracle) and you like to leverage technology to streamline processes

• Excellent problem-solving skills, capable of driving change and fostering a culture of continuous improvement

• You are experienced in managing a team before and are willing to orient and support your team members

• Based in Paris or willing to relocate, with excellent communication skills in both English and French.
