For the expansion of its international and local development, the music streaming platform Qobuz is seeking an Assistant in Music Merchandising/Editorial for the GSA region (Germany, Switzerland, Austria). This position is offered as a fixed-term full-time contract for 12-18 months. The place of work is Pantin, near Paris.

1/ Editorial

• Publishing editorial content for our digital magazine (Magazine articles, Hi-Fi articles, Panorama articles covering all music genres)

• Translating and proofreading editorial content

• Optionally: writing your own texts for the local music market

• Maintaining and expanding the content base of German-language album reviews (Translating and writing)

• Managing the translator pool

2/ Streaming

• Creating and updating playlists in all music genres in close collaboration with the international streaming team

• Curating local playlists in all music genres

• Researching and selecting new albums for the updates of the new releases playlists

• Monitoring the local music market and album releases

• Sending out weekly and monthly newsletters

• Sending out weekly playlist reports

3/ Social media

• Supporting the global social media team in creating posts for the German accounts

Searched profile:

• Completed Bachelor’s or Master’s degree or equivalent education

• Initial work experience in the music industry or editorial/content creation field

• Native German speaker

• Passion for music as well as musical and discographic knowledge

• Very good level of English (both written and spoken)

• Excellent written communication skills

• Basic knowledge of French required

• Multitasking and organizational talent
