We are looking for a Senior Product Designer to work across our product at Qare (Main product for patient and practitioner, B2B) digital products. The role will need you to be collaborative, actively working with all the teams at Qare.

You will provide creative input and direction, championing the UX process and decisions, actively promoting design proposals by summarizing researches for all Qare to review with the rest of the product team. We are proud that all the member of the design team are very independent, but we are glad to all meet sometime to discuss our design and give feedback to each other.

What you will do

 You’ll work across our digital products, considering the UX of all the users across the different product areas. Your focus will be to improve the experience for patient and the practitioner (App native and web app).
 You will work iteratively, using an exploratory, adaptive, and experimental approach to constantly iterate towards implementation.
 You will create and improve processes, assets, and culture to influence and drive our patient and practitioner experience forward.
 Collaborate on visual design aspects with the wider team
 Developpements of UIs and prototypes
 Improve our design system with the design team.
 You’ll work closely with other designer, product managers and engineers to help implement designs to a high degree of quality.

Requirements

 You have gained experience as a mid-level designer in your previous role(s) and are ready to take on more responsibilities within a smart, supportive and growing Design team. (3 to 5 years’ experience)

 You have highly refined visual design skills and the ability to communicate the rationale and intent behind decisions.

 You have high graphic design taste, and you can drive other designer in your aesthetic choices.

 You already work with design system, and you understand to create or modify component in your design
tool but also help the PM or PO create a ticket for this change to be effective on the Developpement side.

 You’ll have a thorough understanding of how people move around a service, being confident in creating artifacts which help to define and communicate this to others.

 You have experience working on digital products that users can access on any device, ideally in both a B2C and B2B context.

 You understand the importance of data and regular testing and use these to guide and support design decisions. You can provide guidance to create KPI or dashboard.

 You have experience working within agile digital teams and thrive in a fast-paced, constantly changing environment. You can guide your team with user’s drive or need in order to have an impact on the product.

 Comfortable running design workshops and research projects and summarizing for other teams and management review.

 You can guide junior product designer when they need it, you are curious and eager to share design news in the team.

 You understand the business side of the product designer job and you can help build a business plan for a new feature or a new product.

 You can engage and maintain communication with stakeholders and manage their expectations.

 You can have a full discussion about design in English or French. (You will interact with English and French speaker)

Previous Experience

 Solid design experience and expertise with digital products – web/ app
 Background within highly regulated industries
 Ability to manage and oversee design enhancements within existing products, as well as creating new products from concept to execution
 Through understanding of UX design approaches and well versed in accessible standards
 You have experience working within agile digital teams and thrive in a fast-paced, constantly changing environment.
 Experience with Figma, Adobe, Sketch, Invision and other design tools (FYI: We are using Figma)

Bonus skill (but not mandatory)
 You are curious and have other skill that can help you in your daily job
 You like doing some illustration flat or 3D (Illustrator, Photoshop, C4D, Blender…)
 You have done a little bit of motion design or video and you can use it when needed to explain you design view.
