Job description
We are looking for an experienced and passionate People Manager to lead our HR and people operations functions. As the first People Manager in our startup, you will have the unique opportunity to build and implement HR processes, policies, and initiatives from the ground up. You will be responsible for creating a positive and inclusive work environment, attracting top talent, and developing and retaining our exceptional team members. The ideal candidate should have a solid background in HR management, exceptional communication and leadership skills, and a passion for fostering a vibrant startup culture.
Responsibilities
Develop and implement HR strategies, policies, and processes to support the growth and success of the organization.
Lead the end-to-end recruitment process, including job postings, candidate screening, interviewing, and onboarding.
Create and manage performance management systems, including performance evaluations, goal setting, and employee development plans.
Foster a positive and inclusive work environment that promotes employee engagement, well-being, and work-life balance.
Develop and implement compensation and benefits programs that attract and retain top talent.
Provide guidance and support to managers and employees on HR-related matters, including employee relations, conflict resolution, and compliance with labor laws and regulations.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and deliver training programs, workshops, and initiatives to enhance employee skills and capabilities.
Establish and maintain effective communication channels to keep employees informed about company updates, policies, and opportunities for growth.
Stay current with industry trends, best practices, and legal requirements to ensure HR compliance and proactively identify areas for improvement.
Champion diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives to create a welcoming and equitable workplace for all employees.
Build and nurture relationships with external partners, such as recruiters, legal advisors, and HR service providers.
Preferred experience
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
Proven experience (4 years) in HR management, preferably in a fast-paced startup or technology environment.
Strong knowledge of HR best practices, french labor laws, and regulations.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships at all levels of the organization.
Demonstrated ability to develop and implement HR policies and processes that align with business objectives.
Experience in full-cycle recruitment, including sourcing, interviewing, and onboarding.
Strong organizational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
Familiarity with HRIS (Human Resources Information System) tools and other HR-related software is preferred.

Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced startup environment and adapt to changing priorities.
