The purpose of this role is to support and enrich the strategic planning role in healthcare communications.

As a strategy intern, here is what you will do:

• Work closely with the Strategic Planning Director helping with a broad variety of client  projects in health & wellness
  • analysis of competition
  • uncover cultural and human insights for very diverse audiences from consumers, to patients, to different types of health care professionals
  • write angles for creative briefs
  • help in new business pitches
  • keep up with best practices in communication in healthcare and beyond
  • keep up with trends in healthcare and society as a whole
  • help in the design and preparation of workshops
• Work closely with the medical writers and the creatives to help clarify and inspire impactful, integrated strategic ideas and platforms
• Search, identify and present data to clarify and inspire on specific projects

• Strong data capabilities and interest
• Ability to quickly absorb and analyze large amounts of information and synthesize large amounts of data
• Interest in having an impact in healthcare by deepening understanding and finding new ways to look at problems
• Curiosity for human/consumer behavior, and knack for uncovering simple, honest insights
• Enthusiasm, curiosity, ability to collaborate to a team with flexibility and an open mind
• To be working toward or recently graduated from a degree.
• Excellent English communication (written and oral) skills.
• A pronounced taste for working in a medical-scientific and health environment
