The Product Team:

The Product team is the armed wing of OVRSEA’s vision: our tools will revolutionize international freight transport!

As discoverers of solutions in a market that is not very digitalized, our PMs provide our customers with new solutions for transport management and enable our Ops teams to be the most efficient on the market.

What is a Product Designer at OVRSEA?

As the first Product Designer at OVRSEA, your objective will be to define high standards in UX, to promote them to the Tech and Product teams and to help them put them into practice.

You will work on various topics with our Tech & Product squads, each focused on a business issue (our Burning Problems) to address for the quarter.

You will have the opportunity to work on our 2 products: Hermes (for our external clients) and Atlas (our internal product) with their respective specificities and challenges.

Finally, we have the privilege of building a product in a market that is not very digitalized and complex. We are therefore pioneers in the field and the challenge is extremely interesting!

Assignments

Design interaction:

• Gather and synthesize the needs of our customers (from SMEs to large groups) and our internal businesses
• Continuously improve our user paths and interfaces to enhance our users’ daily lives
• Design our next functionalities from discovery to delivery hand in hand with the Tech & Product team

Design Ops (Organizational):

• Implement the tools and methodologies you deem appropriate to improve our UX standards
• Develop the UX culture at OVRSEA: training of the Tech & Product team, monitoring to keep Ovrsea’s UX up to date etc…
• Help improve our Design System to allow us to efficiently deliver the best user experiences

The team’s 2022 challenges

• Boost our key account growth by addressing their specific issues (mass tracking, partner collaboration, detailed reporting, API integrations, etc.)
• Support the opening of OVRSEA’s international offices and operate end-to-end transportation
• Build products for our future Procurement and Customs departments
• Accelerate our strategic tracks for supply chain management (TMS, stock vision, suppliers, Net Zero Initiative)

But also, many challenges for our organization: doubling our workforce, co-constructing our annual strategy, industrializing our User Research, reinforcing our UX & Design standards… and many others!

• You have more than 2 years of experience in a similar role
• You have strong skills in all aspects of UX Design and UX Research
• You master Figma
