Position overview :

We are seeking a Junior Cloud Operations Engineer to assist in the deployment, management, and maintenance of our cloud infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in cloud computing principles and a desire to learn and grow within the field.

This position can be either offered on a hybrid model if based in Paris or fully remote if based in other cities of France

Position responsibilities :

The function of the Junior Infrastructure & Cloud Operations Engineer has the following key areas of responsibility:

•  Provision new customer environments on a request basis, according to their contractual agreement
•  Debug and troubleshoot potential problems in customer environments
•  Continuously monitor the health and performance of the existing environments to comply with the contractual SLAs
•  Participate in the guards’ rotation system (24x7x365) as 3 rd level support to provide technical support with infrastructure issues in the Cloud
•  Respond to standard requests from internal and external clients on time

Position requirements :

• Has a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• Proficient in English and French. Spanish could be a great plus
• Has some knowledge on management of public cloud infrastructure and services using AWS:  CloudFormation, VPC, IAM, EC2, S3, ELB, CloudWatch, DynamoDB

• Has experience in Operating Systems administration (Windows and Linux) and in AWS RDS Databases administration (with MySQL/Maria DB)
• Knowledge of Application server's administration (with Tomcat)
• Knowledge of Python and Bash scripting
