Job Description - Internal Communication & Content Creation Apprentice

  • Duration : 12-24 months

 Context

As an Internal Communication Apprentice specializing in content creation, you will play a key role in developing engaging and visually impactful internal communication materials. You will support the execution of creative communication strategies that enhance employee engagement and strengthen the company’s internal culture. This role combines content creation, graphic design, and artistic direction to ensure a compelling and consistent corporate narrative.

Working under the Head of Global Internal Communication, you will collaborate closely with the Internal Communication team, Corporate Communication, HR, and other key stakeholders to drive impactful communication campaigns across multiple platforms.

This is an excellent opportunity for a creative and motivated candidate to learn and upskill about how to roll out global internal campaigns, that strengthen the brand while generating engagement of employees.

 Responsibility and missions

  • Assist in developing and implementing internal communication strategies that align with organizational goals, while ensuring visual consistency across all communication materials.
  • Design and produce visually appealing internal communication materials such as posters, newsletters, videos, and motion graphics.
  • Create engaging content for internal digital platforms (intranet, newsletters, internal social media – Viva Engage, email templates, and presentations).
  • Support global and local teams by developing templates and design assets that can be used for internal communication needs.
  • Assist in the organization and artistic direction of internal campaigns and events, ensuring a creative and engaging approach.
  • Participate in community management activities, fostering interaction and engagement on internal communication platforms.
  • Track and analyze communication effectiveness, providing recommendations for improvement.
  • Stay up to date with design trends and digital communication best practices to continuously innovate internal communication strategies.

 

Skills and qualifications

  • Strong knowledge in visual storytelling, print and digital content creation.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, After Effects, Premiere Pro) and Microsoft Office tools. Strong motion design and video editing skills.
  • Ability to write compelling, concise, and engaging content in both English and French.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, meet deadlines, and adapt to evolving priorities.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work in a dynamic, international environment.
  • Proactive mindset with the ability to propose new ideas and adapt to challenges.

 Education and experience

 Bachelor's degree in Visual Communications, Artistic Direction, Graphic Design, or a related field.
