Role summary

Join our Data team in Paris as a Data Analyst and play a pivotal role in shaping the analytics and tracking of our cutting-edge AI products. You’ll specialize in events, tracking, and analytics, leveraging advanced techniques to automate queries and uncover creative use cases for our AI capabilities.

This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment, enjoys building robust data pipelines, and wants to influence our product roadmap directly.

You’ll work closely with engineers and product teams to centralize data, develop analytics for Mistral Code and AI Studio, and drive innovation by exploring new ways to use AI internally. If you’re passionate about data, curious about AI, and eager to make an impact, this is the role for you.

What you will do

• Build and maintain data pipelines to ensure high-quality, ML-ready data.

• Design and implement event tracking in collaboration with engineers.

• Run in-depth analyses on our AI products to guide decision-making and product development.

• Automate queries triggered from Le Chat (a key product feature) to streamline analytics.

• Centralize and organize Salesforce data to improve monitoring and reporting.

• Discover new use cases for AI, nurturing both the product roadmap and internal innovation.

• Develop analytics for Mistral Vibe and AI Studio, two of our flagship products.

• Collaborate with a global team to build a network of engineers and stakeholders.

About you

Must-have:

• 2+ years of experience as a Data Analyst.

• Proficiency in SQL and Python.

• A product mindset and a passion for AI.

• Creative, curious, and innovative—you love exploring new ways to use data.

• Low-ego and a team player, eager to collaborate across functions.

• AI early adopter—you stay ahead of trends and love experimenting with new tools.

Nice-to-have:

• Experience with causal inference or machine learning.

• Familiarity with DBT or similar tools.

Location & Remote

The position is based in our Paris HQ offices and we encourage going to the office as much as we can (at least 3 days per week) to create bonds and smooth communication. Our remote policy aims to provide flexibility, improve work-life balance and increase productivity. Each manager can decide the amount of days worked remotely based on autonomy and a specific context (e.g. more flexibility can occur during summer). In any case, employees are expected to maintain regular communication with their teams and be available during core working hours.
