Your primary mission is to enable Mendo to sell to a growing base of enterprise clients by:
Taking on client-facing calls for all technical aspects including security, integration and compliance
Lead continuous implementation and maintenance of the best security practices within the company. Mendo is ISO-27001 and adheres to the full control of the SOC 2 controls. This requires continuous company-wide efforts.
For all these tasks, you will work hand-to-hand with the CTO and co-founder of the company.
Explain to client IT teams how the different versions of Mendo work and guide them through integration with their systems.
Present Mendo’s data flows and GDPR compliance value propositions to DPOs/Compliance officers.
Demonstrate to Security teams how Mendo adheres to industry-standard security practices and why its integration poses virtually no additional risk to the client’s IT infrastructure.
Maintain and update internal documentation for all the above activities.
Lead all internal security and compliance initiatives. Implement or enhance appropriate security measures.
The position is open to junior profiles because it’s made of tasks and responsibilities so far taken by the CTO and one of the more security-hungry developer, which will be able to transfer knowledge.
It’s a great opportunity to grow both communication skills and technical expertise across the full Mendo stack and on Azure.
Day-to-day, the future Security & Compliance Lead will work with the CTO and will be provided numerous training resource for a quick and scheduled growth.
At least 1-2 years of experience as an RSSI or in a similar position.
At least 1-2 years of experience managing IT projects (web and desktop applications).
Knowledge equivalent to or above the Azure AZ-900 certification. Mendo’s backend is entirely hosted on Azure.
Excellent understanding of GDPR and its practical implementation.
Outstanding communication skills, with the ability to speak comfortably with client C-level executives (CTO, CDO, CISO).
