Melody Media is a global program meant to design, build, deliver and operate a solution for L’Oréal media planning & associated financial tracking. It is meant to address the current and future needs of L’Oréal in an ever-changing media landscape. Its scale embarks various functions within the company such as country marketing and financial controlling teams, regional & global media & finance teams as well as 3rd party media agencies. It is considered a critical program for the group as it channels activities that directly impacts L’Oréal’s financial performance.

To deliver this program, L’Oréal will implement a new solution completed by in-house components built to facilitate the integration to our internal systems. To ensure the technical delivery of all workstreams we are looking for a technical lead that will cover the following activities.  

Technical requirements definition – 50%

• Work collaboratively with IT & Business Product owner to identify technical solutions applicable to the program workstreams.

• Prepare and lead technical workshops with internal & external partners.

• Design and architect technical solutions that align with project goals and requirements.

• Document technical requirements in a user-friendly way within our shared documentation platform (Confluence).

• Define program’s technical best practices in alignment with L’Oréal IT architecture principles.

• Support architecture review preparation and presentation.

• Ensure compliance with L’Oréal IT security & privacy principles.

Technical delivery – 50%

• Provide technical leadership and guidance to development teams throughout the program lifecycle.

• Lead the team’s estimation & sprint planification effort.

• Define & setup the development team’s workspace to ensure efficient & qualitative delivery.

• Review the deliverables produced by the development team.

• Participate actively to program team’s delivery rituals (dailies, sprint planning, retrospective, demo)

• Support pilot rollout activity definition in collaboration with involved technical teams.

• Lead incidents root cause analysis.

• Identify & communicate on technical risks potentially impacting the program’s roadmap.

In this specific position, it will be important for you to have: 

•          5+ years of experience as a Developer

•          3+ years of experience as a developer / tech team lead.

•          Proficiency in solution development lifecycle, IT systems architecture and related interface contracts (with ERP and ETL systems in particular). 

•          Experience with Software Development methodologies.

•          Ability to collaborate deeply with Business analysts / Product owners during requirements definition.

•          Ability to analyse business requirements, processes, data, and system integration points to determine / recommend appropriate technology solutions.

•          Ability to effectively communicate with IT and business stakeholders and build trustful relationships.

•          Proficiency in analyzing project’s opportunities, risks & dependencies.

•          Deep understanding of ALM, SDLC practices and procedures (CI, github / bitbucket / Azure DevOps, CD)

•          Proficiency in designing, coding, testing, documenting, and deploying global applications based on system and user requirements.

•          Experience leading cross-functional development teams in an agile project management.

•          Proficiency in conducting code reviews, ensure code maintainability, readiblity, comments, metrics, etc.

•          Experience in web application and serverless application development (ex: Azure Web Apps, Functions, etc…).

•          Experience with SaaS platform integration projects in a Customer Information System (data referential import, data export, synchronization).

•          Ability to analyze complex problems, identify root causes, and propose innovative solutions.

A plus would be to know: 

•          Azure PaaS services, .NET Core, C#

•          Experience with Front-End framework like VueJS or ReactJS

•          Familiarity with emerging technologies (Cloud / Serverless infrastructure, docker, noSql / BigData technologies)

•          iPaaS experience (ex: Workato)

•          BPM experience (Workflow based system)

•          Google Cloud Computing (BigQuery in particular)

•          Experience with event-driven systems interactions (ex: Kafka, EventHub).

•          Solid experience on ORM (Entity Framework) 

•          Sensitivity for user experience design is a plus.
