About the role: 

Community is the core of Malt. Today Malt Community in Spain has more than 40.000 Freelancers and at Malt we are daily looking for the best possible ways to be engaged with our freelancer community and help them in their daily independent missions.  

As Community Builder & Developer, you will work with both the Country Manager and Head of Community to develop and execute strategies to grow the number of talented freelancers, ensure they succeed and ultimately be an advocate for the Malt platform.   

Responsibilities: 

• Responsible for the growth, success, support and retention of Freelancers in Spain

• Develop strategies to grow Freelancers in high demand missions, through scalable tactics, e.g partnerships, content, events, referrals and more. 

• Daily call or meet Freelancers to give them the best tools and advices to connect to Malt clients

• Championing the needs and requirements of these Freelancers to the global product, marketing and operations team.   

Requirements: 

• 2+ years experience in Business Development / Community or any growth mindset role

• Experience in customer relationship management, online marketplace or Tech industry is preferred 

• Experience working cross-functionally with product, marketing, communication, sales operations teams 

• Strong appetite for working with the Malt community 

• Enjoy working with people from different backgrounds

• Enjoy and be available to travel in Spain and time to time to Paris

• Strong networker and relationship builder

• Proactive self-starter with hands-on mentality

• Ability to manage multi-task projects with excellent organisational skills  

• Fluent in Spanish and English, French is a plus
