About the role:

LumApps is seeking a Pre-Sales Engineer to join our team in the U.S. Sales Engineers support our sales efforts leading to technology justification and implementation of LumApps solutions. Our Sales Engineers act as trusted advisors within the sales cycle; assisting in both pre and post-sales conversations for advice and support.

What you will do:

  • Collaborate with Sales and Project Management teams to identify and create winning sales strategies and new product opportunities
  • Act as the technical trusted advisor for key prospects and customers
  • Transform business into technical and technical into business, understand challenges, and offer solutions that fit LumApps’ and prospects’ needs
  • Provide strategic guidance to LumApps’ prospects and customers to ensure alignment with industry best practices and assist clients in avoiding the common pitfalls in the customer journey
  • Deliver high-level strategic recommendations to our top prospects, companies, and partners, in addressing digital transformation challenges during the pre-sales cycle
  • Work in a consultative capacity to understand prospect vision, goals, and objectives and emphasize the value of the LumApps platform
  • Help to lead best practice summits and speaking engagements at conferences around the world
  • Be the Technical Trusted Advisor to our key and strategic partners: define and deliver, jointly with Sales Partner Managers, the right partner strategy to onboard strategic partners
  • Perform product demos and communicate LumApps’ value proposition to varying technical and non-technical prospective customers
  • Propose and/or design technical solutions to meet the prospect's business, technical, and/or financial goals
  • Support and respond, in an effective and timely manner, to RFI/RFPs
  • Implement and manage Proof of Concepts
  • Support and setup trade show demos, including a tailored environment for key customers
  • Train prospects and partners on LumApps and manage the trial process to convert prospects into a customers
  • Partner with the Sales team to develop requirements, documents, presentations, and proposals 
  • Coordinate with the Product team and/or Project Managers to execute sales objectives and to ensure that all pre-sales customer requirements are documented and transitioned
  • Maintain expert knowledge of LumApps’ products to develop and present unique solutions and maintain knowledge of emerging trends in technology
  • Work closely with Product Managers and Engineering teams by providing feedback from information gathered during pre-sales projects

What we are looking for:

  • 3+ years experience, background in high-tech SaaS pre-sales, solutions consulting, or professional services
  • Understanding of deployment and integration of SaaS-based software
  • Knowledge of Cloud technologies (GSuite or Office 365)
  • Superb presentation, listening, interpersonal and communication skills
  • Well organized and structured, able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously 
  • Self-learner, team player, enjoys sharing ideas and knowledge 
  • Expected travel approximately 30%-40%
  • BA/BS degree preferred; advanced degree a plus
