It has been awarded the prestigious title “Cool Vendor in Digital Commerce” by Gartner for its comprehensive solution suite which provides payments on a platform as a service (PaaS) basis to address a broad range of complex payment needs of multichannel retailers, marketplaces, gig and shared economy platforms as well as business to business platforms, acquirers and payment services providers.

Limonetik started by processing, aggregating and creating payment methods for use online and offline in France then expanding to cover a broad international selection of alternative payments. Today Limonetik’s platform supports over 285 local payment methods, reduces complexity of settlement by aggregating multiple financial flows into one settlement and supports these services with comprehensive reconciliation and reporting tools all via one state-of-the-art API. Limonetik is one of the earliest developers of the marketplace payment solution and has over seven years’ experience in that relatively new sector.

Descriptif du poste

Limonetik is looking for a Senior Business Developer to take charge of detecting new opportunities and being a force of proposal of the companies the commercial strategy.
His/her objective will be to reinforce the Company’s high value-added positioning and to accelerate its development both in France and internationally, with the main payment players.

  • Manage a portfolio of clients and prospects (PSP, Acquirers, Banks, Tier one Merchants and Marketplaces)
  • Analyze and understand the needs of customers and prospects, identify potential projects, set up a tailored sales pitch
  • Bringing customer needs to the attention of internal staff
  • Analyze a Request for Proposal and make the decision to respond to it (according to its strengths and weaknesses, the state of the competition…)
  • Write a commercial proposal / response to a call for tender
  • Conduct commercial negotiations and conclude the sale
  • Monitor the market
  • Manage incoming leads with the marketing team
  • Promote the company’s products and services
  • Develop the business with prospects
  • Actively participate in trade shows, networks etc…
  • Report on sales activity via the daily update of the CRM tool (SalesForce)
  • Participate in discussions & legal conclusions with the client (follow up of the signature process)
  • Manage commercial disputes in conjunction with the client, the project team or the legal department
  • Ensure that invoices are paid within the contractually agreed deadlines on the commercial perimeter

Profil recherché

Education (Bac + 5 / Master): business school, engineering school or university equivalent
Experience in payment industry: 10 -15 years minimum
Fluent English required
Other languages appreciated

  • Expert use of SalesForce
  • Good knowledge of the payment ecosystem / payment value chain on the merchant acquiring / accepting side
  • Good negotiator
  • Key account hunter, strong strategic dimension (c-level and operational contacts)

Déroulement des entretiens

  • pre-selection interview with the HR Officer
  • An interview, in our offices (if possible), with the Head of Sales and HR
  • A final interview, in our offices (if possible), with one or two people from the Sales team and the CEO
