Global Merchandise Planning

  • Lead merchandise planning strategy across global regions with a unified approach to top line, margin and inventory performance
  • Partner with regional leaders to translate global strategy into actionable seasonal plans, adapting for local market realities
  • Guide seasonal regional purchase plans and stock equation, presenting business insights and regional inputs to Global Lead Team
  • Review and advise action points of regional purchase plan, securing sustainable inventory level and improve inventory turnover
  • Partner with Buying to champion strategic product categories, ensuring they are well implemented in the buy according to the sales trajectory
  • Optimise product life cycle management to enhance sell-through, reduce markdown risk, and improve inventory turnover
  • Create and foster a data-driven planning culture through knowledge sharing and best practice dissemination

System &amp; Process Evolution


  • Support the global roll-out of a custom Buying and Planning system, overseeing implementation and driving change management
  • Champion digital transformation initiatives that elevate merchandise planning efficiency and business impact
  • Partner closely with IT counterparts in the build and roll-out phases of dedicated merchandising software
  • Ensure the new system enhances visibility, streamlines processes, and improves real-time decision-making
  • Support in troubleshooting and analysing business impact of activities carried out by Planning teams


Profil recherché

  • 10+ years of experience in merchandise planning, inventory management, or financial planning within Brand, fashion, or premium luxury sectors
  • Proven track record in leading global planning strategies and influencing senior stakeholders
  • Strong analytical skills with expertise in financial modelling, demand forecasting, and pricing strategy
  • Experience implementing and managing Anaplan or similar planning systems
  • Ability to drive cross-functional collaboration and lead transformation initiatives in a fast-paced, matrix-ed organisation
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage with both senior executives and operational teams
