FINANCIAL CONTROLLING INTERNSHIP - LUXE DIVISION - LANCÔME DMI
6-month Internship | From July 2025 to December 2025 | Paris area | Master 1 or 2 | 1700€ monthly |

As a Financial Controlling Intern, you’ll be a key player within our DMI team, gaining hands-on experience in financial reporting, analysis, and decision-making. Partner with experienced professionals and contribute to the growth of a globally recognized brand. JOIN OUR LUXE DIVISION FOR THE ICONONIC LANCOME BRAND IN FINANCIAL CONTROLING: Become a strategic business partner driving financial clarity. You’ll leverage your analytical expertise to ensure accuracy in financial reporting, provide key insights into company performance, and contribute to informed decision-making.

YOU WILL LEARN TO:

  • Pricing & Profitability
  • Introduction / onboarding with the rest of the team of the new software (AFPt).
  • Helping pricing teams enter intra-group prices into the system (calculating and entering transfer prices), performing consistency checks on margin rates and missing prices.
  • Helping the profitability teams prepare the update of transfer prices to the Affaires Marchés for the S2 24
  • Preparation of the 2024 profitability benchmark (brand, zone, product code) and preparation of various ad hoc analyses at the teams’ request
  • Reporting
  • Monthly reporting on the brand’s financial performance prepared and sent to all CODIR members : sales, P&L, Media, by Zone and axis…
  • Ad Hoc slides preparation for the CFO of the brand
  • A&P Expenses
  • Participation in monthly closing operations (creation and receipt of DED, follow-up of non-received DED, etc.) and framing of annual budgets for certain low-risk teams.
  • Weekly check des factures bloquées au paiement
  • Quarterly Internal Control checks on different topics such as auto-approved DED
  • Ad hoc analysis for the marketing team, the CFO or the other controllers
  • Corporate Expenses
  • Monitoring of travel expenses and “sorties gratuites”
  • Monthly communications to the senior management of the Brand

YOU ARE…
  • A Master student - No margin for negotiation on this one! Able to provide an internship agreement of 6 months issued by your school - no negotiation either!
  • Fluent French and/or English Speaker
  • A creative entrepreneur: courageous and adventurous. You’re not afraid to step outside of your comfort zone and to try new things

WHAT DOES OUR RECRUITMENT PROCESS LOOK LIKE?

1°/ Our recruitment team will review all the application - And If your CV is selected, you will be invited for an Exploratory Recruitment Interview. The recruiter you meet with will be getting to know you better so they can capture the métier, division, brand and finally the mission in which you will be able to better express your potential.

2°/ Finally, you will get a Business interview with your potential future manager(s). At this point, your recruiter will help you prepare for this final interview!
