As Pricing Actuary & data Lead, you will be at the heart of the new actuarial data department, spearheading the actuarial strategy and execution. For all the travel insurance products we offer, across verticals, you will be the go-to expert for pricing and risk management.
🎯 Your role:
Structure the pricing and risk
Deeply understand the crux of the products we offer, the markets we sell in and the partners we sell to
Use data to co-create pricing strategies and models, along with different internal teams. Account for the risk parameters you will define the pricing strategy for the products we sell (such as cancellation rates, claim history, etc)
Apply actuarial skills to manage risk and develop models that balance profitability with customer value (e.g.: dynamic pricing strategy)
Negotiate with the insurers/capital providers, in collaboration with the Ops team
Monitor existing pricing structure & Performance Analysis
For every partner, conduct profitability analysis
Conduct A/B tests (along with Ops) to make informed decisions and continuously refine pricing models for optimal performance
Conduct extensive performance analysis of various products, identifying key user segments and understanding their specific needs and behaviours.
Data Strategy Development:
- Develop and implement the data strategy & culture across all teams.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand their data requirements and ensure alignment with the overall business objectives.
- Define clear and detailed specifications based on the analysis needs of different teams.
- Ensure that the data collected and used is accurate, relevant, and sufficient for conducting thorough analyses.

You are the right person for us if:
You have an advanced degree in actuarial science or an equivalent data science degree
You have advanced skills in visualization tools (PowerBI, Tableau, etc), open-source programming (Python, R)
You are comfortable with machine learning models
You already have a similar experience with data and/or actuary and/or building optimal pricing
You are interested in learning and training
You are ready to take on all the challenges of a company on full scale!

Fluent in English (other languages would be a plus)
