Descriptif du poste

The Head of Communications will oversee all aspects of Maison Kitsuné’s communication strategy, ensuring alignment with the brand’s vision, voice, and values. This role includes managing press relations, talent partnerships, social media, and international coordination to maximize brand visibility and audience engagement. You will work closely with the Chief Brand Officer and various internal teams to develop and execute communications initiatives that align with our business goals.

Key Responsibilities

1. Strategy Development

  • Lead global communication strategies across PR, social media, events, and CMI in collaboration with the Marketing, Image & Digital teams.

  • Develop and implement a 360° communication plan, ensuring alignment with brand objectives and seasonal priorities.

  • Set KPIs for communication initiatives and track measurable success across press, social media, and talent collaborations.

  • Monitor trends, emerging technologies, and cultural shifts to keep Maison Kitsuné at the forefront of the industry.

  • Support business units (Café Kitsuné, Kitsuné Musique, Desa Bali) with communication tools and strategies.

  • Oversee monthly analysis of coverage and report on ROI, offering data-driven recommendations.

  • Manage the communication budget, ensuring effective cost control and ROI analysis for each project.

2. Social Media Management

  • Oversee global and seasonal social media strategies, ensuring consistency and engagement across platforms.

  • Drive innovation to foster community growth and improve engagement metrics.

  • Collaborate with Marketing, Digital, and Image teams to ensure cohesive messaging across all digital touchpoints.

  • Monitor performance and adjust content strategies based on data insights.

3. Talent and Partnerships

  • Develop and manage strategic partnerships with brand ambassadors, artists, and influencers.

  • Negotiate talent contracts and ensure alignment with Maison Kitsuné’s values and goals.

  • Build and nurture relationships with key media outlets, talent agencies, and cultural institutions.

  • Manage seasonal talent engagements, including gifting, seeding, and collaborations.

4. Press Relations

  • Lead global PR strategy, including media placements, feature pitching, and press events.

  • Maintain relationships with key journalists, editors, and opinion leaders to secure top-tier coverage.

  • Oversee agency management, press releases, media blasts, and editorial content.

  • Ensure effective coordination between internal teams and PR agencies for smooth campaign execution.

5. Events Management

  • Conceptualize and manage high-profile brand events, including press days, launches, and international activations.

  • Collaborate with internal teams and external agencies to ensure successful event execution that drives ROI and brand awareness.

  • Manage event budgets and deliver events that align with brand objectives.

6. International Coordination

  • Align global communication strategies across regions (Europe, Asia, Americas).

  • Provide local teams with assets, guidelines, and tools to ensure consistent brand representation.

  • Act as a central point for all global communication initiatives, ensuring coherence across markets.


Profil recherché

Experience

  • Minimum 6 years in communication, with 2-3 years in a similar senior role in contemporary, fashion, or lifestyle brands.

  • Proven experience in managing international communication strategies.

Skills

  • Strong leadership and organizational skills.

  • Expertise in digital and social media strategies.

  • In-depth knowledge of press and media relations.

  • Proven experience in PR, brand communication, and event management.

  • Fluent in French and English (additional languages are a plus).
