About the Role
As part of our ongoing expansion, we are seeking a dynamic and proactive Music Licensing and Digital Marketing Manager to join our growing team. This hybrid role combines music licensing, business affairs, client management, and digital marketing. It is ideal for someone passionate about music with a strong understanding of rights and licensing, and the creative mindset to promote our catalog across international markets.
You will be responsible for managing music licensing partnerships, nurturing key commercial relationships, executing marketing initiatives, and helping shape a strategic roadmap in an evolving digital landscape.
Key Responsibilities
Licensing & Rights Management
Identify, negotiate, and manage music licensing deals across film & TV, digital platforms, karaoke, gaming, and corporate sectors.
Maintain and grow a portfolio of international clients, partners, and key accounts.
Ensure all agreements comply with rights ownership, usage scopes and legal frameworks, in coordination with legal and business affairs.
Provide partners with regular updates, contractual follow-up, performance insights and ongoing support.
Digital Catalog Marketing
Develop and execute marketing strategies to promote music catalogs across various sectors (social media, websites).
Analyze performance to drive catalog visibility and revenue.
Collaborate with internal teams to align marketing initiatives with licensing opportunities.
Project Management & Strategy
Lead and contribute to strategic, cross-functional projects focused on rights, licensing, or international development.
Use digital tools to monitor usage, generate licensing KPIs, and support data-driven decisions.
Maintain dashboards and documentation to ensure transparency and alignment.
Stay informed on music industry trends and emerging technologies.
Qualifications & Skills
Minimum 3 years of experience in music licensing, distribution, or music rights management.
Strong understanding of the legal framework of music rights (master, publishing, performance, etc.).
Demonstrated commercial acumen and client relationship skills.
Solid digital marketing skills with an ability to address catalog promotion in international markets.
Project management mindset with attention to detail and autonomy.
Fluent in English (written and spoken); proficiency in French is a plus.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Highly organized, tech-savvy, and comfortable with an agile role.
Proficient in tools for data analysis, reporting, and performance monitoring (e.g., Excel, analytics dashboards, licensing databases).
A collaborative team player who is also curious and trend-aware.
Willingness to travel occasionally for business meetings or industry events.
This position is remote-friendly, offering flexibility to work from your preferred location with regular monthly traveling to our headquarters in Lille (France) for team collaboration, planning sessions, and presentations.
