JESA Advisory & Digital Solutions, the strategy & management consulting business unit of JESA, delivers consultancy services for JESA’s clients in industry, infrastructure and urban development throughout Africa and the Middle East. We deliver a unique consultancy to our clients by combining business & management perspective with technology, engineering and execution capabilities in our expertise sectors (Mining, chemicals, manufacturing, agribusiness, energy, water, transportation, cities, real estate, social infrastructure).

As Advisory Manager, you will be a key player in our organization, you will lead a project team where you will have full responsibility for one or more projects. In a challenging environment, you will play an active role in driving teams to achieve the client’s business outcomes by making decisions and overseeing the project process end to end. You will also develop JESA positioning in current and new markets and represent JESA worthily in front of different categories of clients.

The missions will particularly concern assisting our clients conduct a real change through various types of strategic missions to unlock sustainable growth (go to market, partnerships, innovation, sustainability & growth) and by driving performance improvement and sustainable competitiveness by optimizing our clients’ operations.

Your tasks:

  • Preparing technical and financial proposals within the scope assigned by your principal

  • Managing projects from kick-off meeting to final delivery to client including assigning and managing the staff required by the project

  • Managing the client interface being a thought partner in all aspects of the project (s) and managing the communication on the project(s)

  • Conducting client presentations

  • Handling project management (process, budget and timelines). Monitoring and maximizing key financial results of the project (Gross margin, cash collection…)

  • Anticipating, Managing, and Minimizing project risks

  • Ensuring the follow-up of the budget on the projects

  • Coach, influence and help the team grow

  • Support the development of new joiners through mentoring

  • Participate in the internal development (recruiting, marketing communication…)

  • Professional Mobility to different locations as required by the assigned projects


Profil recherché

Education:

  • Top International Engineering or Business School

Personal Attributes

  • Excellent communication skills in French & English

  • Passion for Africa development (economic, social & human) and future looking to tackle continent’s biggest challenges & opportunities

  • Interest in our target sectors (industry, infrastructure and urban development) and underlying technologies

  • Strong problem-solving skills

  • Curiosity, openness, collaboration, flexibility, personal drive, can-do attitude

Experience:

  • Industry: Mining, manufacturing, agri-food, etc

  • Previous experience as a Manager in a strategy consulting firm
