The app

More specifically, Outgoing is an AI-powered concierge for going out in the real world. It’s perfect for finding activities with kids, planning date night, or meeting up with friends, and especially powerful when you’re traveling. Outgoing knows everything happening in a city in real-time – which allows it to generate personalized recommendations and maps, build multi-step itineraries, and book anything for you and your friends.

Your role

We are recruiting a senior software engineer to work on a diverse set of challenges including information retrieval algorithms, crawling and knowledge graph features, and optimizing a custom foundation model for real-world activities.

You will play a key role in strategic technical decisions, including architecture, tooling, and platform evolution. You will work collaboratively with a small team of other senior engineers, but must be able to own and deliver entire features or projects.

Hard Skills

• Solid backend engineering experience and scaling a complex product to many users

• Proficiency with technologies such as:

  • Python (+ Pydantic)

  • Gemini, Gemma, Vertex AI, vllm

  • FastAPI

  • PostgreSQL and/or Redis

  • Google Cloud Platform

  • Flutter (bonus)
