Are you familiar with the portfolio / workout teams at European banks as well as CLO managers?

Do you have have experience in sourcing liquid and illiquid credit assets from banks?

Do you enjoy working in a fast paced collaborative work environment?

What you will do:
Analysis / Sourcing / Purchase of loan / claim opportunities across Europe & sale of product generated by the Bank

In this role you will:

  • Cover Banks and CLO PAR managers in CE- EM/Infrastructure/Schuldschein/Invesment Grade / Leveraged Loan into these areas, building and mapping of the investor base across France/Benelux/& Nordics (Denmark/Sweden/Norway/Finland) in partnership with other colleagues across MSS
  • Transact in RCF, term loans, claims and other private debt instruments sourced from banks, current functionality of trading & crossing
  • Source distressed opportunities from workout teams across the coverage geographies to allow Private Credit to have an early look at situations to gain first mover advantage and access bespoke situations not previously widely traded
  • Work closely with HSBC colleagues on the primary origination pipeline to enable secondary trading + expand coverage across other regional hubs and business areas
  • Map out the clients we have on-boarded and those we need to on-board
  • Focus on the development of the Schuldschein business
  • Work on potential financing opportunities/TRS
  • Originate Private Credit O2D opportunities through building up relationships with relationship managers in CMB across Europe
  • Assist the desk on the build out of the infrastructure in CE to trade loans in light of 2026 CRD VI regulation and assist in the delivery of the business plan for the Private Credit business


Conditions
