Be part of our vibrant Product Design team, where creativity meets functionality. You'll be at the forefront of designing features that enhance freelancer-client connections, supported by a robust Design Ops team. Your mission is to drive user research in order to deeply understand their needs and translate them into scalable, impactful experiences, working closely with PMs, engineers, and data analysts. This is a chance to not just contribute, but significantly elevate our design standards and user experience. As a product designer in the staffing tribe, you'll contribute in developing key features that resonate with both freelancers and clients.

Key responsibilities ✨

  • Immerse yourself in the Malt ecosystem, becoming a pivotal figure in our product development.
  • Foster dynamic collaborations across squads, working closely with Product Managers and Data Analysts.
  • Lead the discovery process, blending data with design to uncover user needs and refine product features.
  • Translate complex requirements into intuitive designs, ensuring a seamless and consistent user experience.
  • Be responsible for the consistency of our user experience, contributing to our Design System, while taking it step-by-step to the next level
  • About you 🧑‍🚀

  • Passion & Attitude: A genuine enthusiasm for user experience complemented by a proactive mindset.
  • Experience: At least 4 years in UX Design, showcasing your ability to develop user-centric designs.
  • Curiosity & Methodology: A keen interest in Hypothesis Driven Development and Design Thinking, with practical experience in these areas.
  • Research & Data Analytics: Strong research capabilities and proficiency in using data analytics to inform design decisions.
  • Collaboration: Exceptional communication skills and the ability to integrate swiftly with teams.
  • Language: Excellent command of English to thrive in our international team.

  • First call with Alex, our Senior Talent Acquisition Manager, to better understand your background, aspirations and answer any questions you may have.
  • Interview with your future manager, Binglu, to delve into your experience and the specifics of the role.
  • Home assignment for you to complete in one week, after which we will schedule a follow-up discussion with members of the Product team to explore your work.
  • Final interview with Belen, our Chief Product Officer, to discuss Malt’s long-term vision.
