Tâches générales :

Recrutement et sélection des entrepreneurs :

- Soutenir l'exécution de la stratégie de recrutement de la cohorte entrante ;
- Construire un pipeline de prospects CDL et utiliser les outils pour suivre et convertir les prospects en candidatures ;
- Évaluer la pertinence des startups deeptech candidates au programme CDL ;
- Participer aux interviews des entreprises et faire des recommandations sur les candidats à admettre au programme.

Écosystème startup :

- Accompagner l'identification et le maintien des relations avec les hubs d'innovation, notamment les universités, les fonds VC, les incubateurs et les accélérateurs, afin de constituer un solide vivier de candidats startups pour le CDL ;
- Participer à des événements, conférences et rencontres de startups en lien avec les différents programmes de CDL-Paris.

The Innovation & Entrepreneurship Institute has been created to enhance the school's mission and impact on society by supporting entrepreneurs through all their challenges.

Within the Institute, the Deep Tech Center focuses on deeptech entrepreneurship, supporting scientific and technical founders with their business challenges.

The CDL-Paris is a joint initiative of HEC Paris and Creative Destruction Lab, currently supporting technical founders from all over the world participating in one of the following programs: Climate technologies, Space, Artificial Intelligence, and Next-Gen Computing (with more to come!).

Role and responsibilities
Working alongside the Venture Managers team, the Venture Analyst will primarily support CDL-Paris venture recruitment for the 2025/26 cohort, including rolling out and managing recruitment infrastructure and identifying viable CDL venture applicants.

Our offices are located at Station F, in the heart of the Parisian entrepreneurial ecosystem.

CDL prides itself on its world-class venture scouting and recruitment, and its ability to detect technologies with the potential to change the world in a massive fashion.

Venture identification and qualification are therefore some of the most strategic aspects of our program.

General duties:

Ventures Recruitment & Selection:

• Support the execution of outreach strategy for the recruitment of the incoming cohort;
• Build a pipeline of CDL prospects and works within our system to monitor and convert leads to applications;
• Assess fit for early-stage science and engineering-based ventures that apply for the CDL program;
• Interview shortlisted companies and make recommendations about who should be admitted to the program.

Ecosystem Building:

• Support identification and relationship building with centers of innovation in the local ecosystem; including Universities, venture capital funds, incubators & accelerators, and tech associations to build a strong pipeline of CDL venture applicants;
• Support, coordinate and produce materials for key internal coordination meetings.
• Attend startup events, conferences, and meetups relevant to the various programs of CDL-Paris.

Profil recherché

- Formation scientifique, technologique ou d'ingénieur ;
- Forte capacité d'analyse et compréhension des technologies et de leur application dans plusieurs domaines ;
- Passionné par les nouvelles applications des technologies émergentes ;
- Excellentes aptitudes à la communication écrite et orale en anglais ;
- Une expérience passée avec des startups, des entreprises technologiques ou des VCs est un atout ;
- L'expérience sur Airtable et Salesforce est un atout ;
- Être à l'aise dans un environnement international.

Profile

- Scientific, technological, or engineering background

- Strong analytical ability and understanding of technologies and applications over several fields;

- Passionate about creative applications of emerging technologies;

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English;

- Work experience working with startups, technology companies, or venture capital is an asset;

- Experience with Airtable and Salesforce is an asset;

- Comfortable in working in a very international environment.
