Within the framework of the Norwegian Railway Traffic Management System project (TMS), we are looking for a Senior Schedule Manager to follow up and update the planning of the different phases of the project.

This long term mission, minimum 2 years, will be carried out on our Client's site based in Oslo, Norway.

PURPOSE OF THE JOB

• Working in close collaboration with the PM, owner of time management topic in the project team, providing proper time management information to support decisions making to reach expected OTD performance of the project 

• Responsible to develop and maintain the project schedule (internal and customer schedule) 

• Manage efficiently planning deliverable issuance. 

• Facilitate the synchronization of internal stakeholders

TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Apply the clients Project Scheduling Process 

• Define and maintain the Project Time Management Plan based on inputs from all stakeholders and keep it updated 

• Lead the project schedule based on internal standard PERT, contractual targets and data provided by all stakeholders, in line with the integrated schedule 

• Ensure the monthly update of the Customer schedule 

• Ensure the consistency of all the internal and external Stakeholders commitments, manage the schedules interfaces 

• Organize and lead periodic project schedule sessions, with internal team and Customer 

• Monitor and report the project follow up through schedule updates and performance dashboard 

• Lead the performance follow up with the proper KPIs and performance dashboard 

• Provide a timely updated schedule situation highlighting the gap between the actual and the baseline 

• Focus on early identification of potential delays (critical paths) including the status on risks and margin related to schedule 

• Propose recovery plan to mitigate any impact on critical path and Customer milestones 

• Lead schedule related Customer discussions in case of claim 

• Ensure project planning baseline is coherent with the execution 

• Prepare schedule and progress reports for Customer, including KPIs (Progress S-curves, OTD time-time curves, Gate Reviews GO on time) 

• Provide support to Project Core Team on all issues related to projects schedule 

• Contribute to the return of experience (REX) and improvements, share best practices, schedule templates

MAIN REQUIRED COMPETENCES MANDATORY

• Engineering degree 

• Senior project management (+5 years) with industrial background 

• Advanced skills in PRIMAVERA P6

• Performance follow up 

• Progress monitoring through KPIs and EVM 

• Is used to work with internal processes: Tenders, Projects, Engineering, Industrial, Sourcing, Supply Chain, Quality and their interfaces 

• Skills in communication with internal teams and Customer

COMPETENCIES & SKILLS

• Good knowledge of railway products, and good knowledge of the Maintenance and Service organization 

• Agility to juggle with schedules simulations, various scenarios, and changing project goals 

• Forensic planning 

• Rigorous, structured and sense of anticipation 

• Good Communications and interpersonal skills, excellent team worker 

• Conflict management and multi-tasking, 

• Collaborative management 

• Be able to challenge project team and highly proactive in proposing solutions 

• Comfortable in an international and a multi-cultural environment
