Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the design and development of software solutions for structural engineering applications.
• Collaborate with product managers, architects, and engineers to define project requirements and technical specifications.
• Develop robust, scalable, and maintainable software code using industry best practices and coding standards.
• Conduct code reviews and provide mentorship to junior team members to ensure code quality and adherence to design principles.
• Implement algorithms and mathematical models to simulate structural behavior and analyze engineering data.
• Integrate software solutions with existing engineering tools and platforms to enhance interoperability and usability.
• Stay updated on emerging technologies and trends in structural engineering and software development to drive innovation and continuous improvement.
• Act as a subject matter expert in structural engineering principles and their application in software development.

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Computer Science, or Structural Architecture
• Proven experience (5+ years) as a Software Developer with a focus on structural engineering applications, with expertise in technical architecture.
• In-depth knowledge of structural analysis principles, finite element methods, and relevant engineering codes and standards.
• Experience with CAD software, BIM (Building Information Modeling), nd familiarity with industry-specific tools such as Revit, Tekla Structures, or SAP2000
• Proven leadership experience, including the ability to lead projects, mentor team members, and drive technical excellence in structural engineering software development.

• Strong proficiency in programming languages such as C++ or C#, with a solid understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to translate engineering concepts into efficient and scalable software solutions.
• Effective communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English at a proficient level
• Minimum proficiency in Spanish or a strong willingness to learn Spanish
