About the Team Hiring

As Graitec transforms, structures, and grows, we have established a new central HR team whose mission is to enable talents and organizations to succeed in their transformation and ensure that Graitec achieves its planned growth through professional, comprehensive, and coherent HR solutions, as well as through business partnerships.

Overview

We are looking for an engaged HR business partner to help our organization grow. You will be responsible for the HR business partnership activities in Southern Europe (Spain, Portugal, Italy), developing, aligning and executing on HR initiatives with local HR operations. In Spain, you will be responsible for all the HR activities, including operations.This role reports to our HR Director EMEA.

 

Role purpose/Objective

  • Ensuring professional development, implementation and execution of all HR processes and services within the region to cover the full employee lifecycle – end to end
  • Be the first point of contact for business leaders & management on any people/HR related topics, and leverage/escalate to the central team as needed to provide high value to our business & teams and standardize as possible the support we provide to Graitec subsidiaries
  • Support the growth of the business acting as a true partner and trusted advisor to managers and employees, being an active member of the local management teams and partnering with the business
  • Partner with Talent Acquisition team to hire faster, stronger and better in the countries – particularly drive for proactive pipelining against future needs and ensure intentional processes to maximize diversity of candidates considered
  • Be a cultural change agent and true role model within the business working tirelessly with leadership to reinforce our culture and values to curate the best employee experience together
  • Bring consistency in people processes in partnership with business stakeholders and peers in specialist teams
  • Support the development of people plans and execute strategies directly aligned to global & local business objectives
  • Work across the business on the implementation of new tools, processes and related projects while acting as the key driver of change within the business and support the adoption of innovations
  • Drive people development particularly in management and leadership teams, support the growth of fantastic leaders and managers enabling them to grow exceptional teams and develop talent for the future
  • Act as a guardian of compliance to local countries regulations as well as any internal policies and guidelines
  • Encure quality onboarding/offboarding
  • Execute and enrich corpporate programmes
  • Be a active member of our amazing global HR team
Responsibilities
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
  • 8+ years of HR experience preferably within a high growth environment.
  • Significant experience working across multiple international teams and cultures – really and virtually - ideally with Tech companies.
  • Able to navigate and drive significant organisation and people changes as well as deliver consistent people processes across different countries, cultures and legal jurisdiction.
  • Experience working internationally and on a virtual team is required.
  • Proficiency in needs assessment and development of relevant training plans.
  • Excellent presentation and facilitation skills, and possess a strong ability to educate, influence, and persuade.
Qualifications
  • Full business fluency in spoken & written in English, awesome if the candidate also speaks any other language.
  • Experience supporting integration projects, bringing together different teams & cultures,
  • Experience in project management (including cross-functional teams and external advisors).
  • Generalist knowledge of running annual people processes; performance, talent, reward & headcount planning partnering with specialist people teams.
  • Proactive and able to connect the dots on occurring issues and accordingly able to come up with relevant solutions.
  • Highly collaborative, able to effectively engage and support specialist teams fully leveraging their capabilities and enabling them to be successful.
  • Professional attitude, fun loving and enjoys working with a diverse group of people.
  • Self-starter with strong customer service orientation.
  • Highly structured with strong attention to detail while coming up with pragmatic solutions.
  • Strong relationship skills and comfortable working in an environment with tight deadlines and imperfect information (working in the gray).
  • Ability to absorb, analyze and process large quantities of disparate information and synthesize quickly with attention to detail.
