Gorgias helps e-commerce companies deliver excellent customer service at scale. We integrate email, messenger, chat, SMS with Shopify and Magento.

Our product creates a unified profile of customers by combining emails, live-chat, and social-media messages with e-commerce data such as purchase and delivery info. Combining all this data in a single application makes customer service more efficient and just better. Another fortunate side-effect is that some requests are completely automated using machine learning.

We've been around since 2015, and we're currently serving over 2000+ e-commerce businesses, including Steve Madden, Rothys, Timbuk2, and Fjällräven.

As a Project Manager and Office Manager in Paris, you will take on multiple administrative projects that are starting to become paramount to support our rapid company growth. We are a very diverse team with employees in the US, Canada, France, Serbia, Australia, Romania and probably many other locations to come, and with that comes the necessity to have clear internal processes and policies. The position also includes supporting our company’s senior-level managers and diverse specific projects when necessary.

We are looking for a highly motivated person, who's excellent at handling admin work but who's a jack of all trades and with experience in a startup environment.

This is not a remote position.

What You'll Do

- Work on implementing the necessary administrative internal processes/policies as the company grows

- A big part of your job will be accounting related. Handle billing inquiries and payments

- Become the owner of our internal knowledge base tool (Notion) and ensure that it remains clean and clear for all to use

- Prepare presentations and reports as required

- Schedule business meetings

- Rack daily expenses and prepare weekly, monthly or quarterly reports

- Purchase and set up work station for new hires in the Paris office

- Read, validate, summarize and keep track of contracts

- Miscellaneous tasks: filling out standard forms, help other team members when required

- Organize team events (happy hours, parties, meetings, offsites, etc)

- Act as an office manager by keeping up with office supply inventory. Make the office a nice environment, make sure everything is clean and welcoming

About You

- Work experience as an Executive Assistant, Office Manager and Accounting or finance related jobs

- Good knowledge of accounting practices

- Ability to multitask and prioritize a heavy daily workload; time management skills are a must

- Ability to effectively partner with all levels of the business and develop/sustain cooperative working relationships with internal staff, clients and external contacts

- Proven tech-savviness!

- Self-starter who works well without constant supervision - ownership is a strong requirement

- Able to adapt quickly through changing priorities

- Diligent in ensuring all tasks are addressed

- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion, and deal with professionals inside and outside the company

- Great English level is a must
