About GitGuardian

GitGuardian is a global cybersecurity scale-up. The company is based in Paris, with 140 team members between France and the USA.

Among our early investors who saw our market value proposition, are the co-founder of GitHub, Scott Chacon, along with Solomon Hykes, Docker's co-founder. American and European top-tier VC firms have also invested in GitGuardian.

GitGuardian helps companies protect their sensitive information, like passwords and API keys, from being accidentally exposed in their code. Imagine a developer building a mobile app for a bank. To connect the app to the bank’s servers, they use an API key—like a secret passcode. But if they accidentally leave that key inside the code and it gets shared online, hackers could find it, access the bank’s client database, and even execute wire transfers. GitGuardian works like a security alarm—it scans code, spots these leaked secrets, and alerts the team so they can fix them before it’s too late.

This might sound like an obvious mistake no one would make, but we recently found 254,000 leaked secrets inside the code of just one Fortune 100 client! Our solutions are already used by more than 600K developers worldwide.

About your team and your mission

GitGuardian’s Finance team drives strategic growth by ensuring financial stability, operational efficiency, and insightful decision-making. • Conduct market research to enhance our benchmarking capabilities by gathering and synthesizing public data on competitors and the industry to provide actionable insights.

Accounting & Operational tasks

Ensure the accuracy of financial records

  • Assist the Quote-to-Cash process by supporting deal registration, updating customer billing schedules, and facilitating revenue reconciliation to ensure alignment from contract to collection.

  • Support the Purchase-to-Pay process by processing supplier invoices, tracking payments, and helping maintain accurate purchasing records to improve cash-out forecasting.

  • Actively participate in the month-end close, handling specific reconciliations and ensuring the correct analytical mapping of transactions.

Systems Readiness

Adapt to new technologies and business needs.

  • Gain exposure to our finance transformation by participating in projects to improve our systems, including the implementation of new tools, AI solutions, and automated workflows.
