Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior IT Site Support to join our dynamic team in Tunis.
In this role, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive technical support to end-users, maintaining IT infrastructure and ensuring the smooth operation of all IT systems at our site.
You will also play a key role in mentoring and guiding junior IT support technicians.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide timely and effective technical support to end-users on various IT issues, including hardware, software, network connectivity and peripherals.
- Diagnose and resolve technical problems remotely and on-site.
- Escalate complex issues to appropriate IT teams or vendors.
- Maintain accurate records of support requests and resolutions.
- Monitor and maintain the health of IT infrastructure, including servers, network devices and security systems.
- Implement and maintain IT security policies and procedures.
- Manage IT inventory and asset tracking.
- Provide guidance, training, and support to a junior IT support technician.
- Delegate tasks and responsibilities effectively.
- Monitor performance and provide constructive feedback.
- Foster a positive and collaborative working relationship.
- Assist with the implementation of new IT solutions and technologies.
- Create and maintain technical documentation.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest IT trends and best practices.
- Participate in IT projects as required.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information System or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar IT support role.
- Proven experience in troubleshooting and resolving complex technical issues.
- Experience in managing and mentoring junior IT staff.
- Excellent knowledge of IT infrastructure and systems.
- Strong understanding of IT security principles and best practices.
- In-depth knowledge of Windows, ChromeOS and macOS operating systems.
- Solid understanding of networking concepts, protocols and technologies (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, firewalls, WIFI).
- Proficiency in troubleshooting and repairing computer hardware, including desktops, laptops, printers and peripherals.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure or Google Cloud.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve issues efficiently.
- A customer-centric approach with a commitment to providing excellent service.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with colleagues.
- Ability to prioritize tasks, manage time effectively and meet deadlines.
- Demonstrated ability to lead, mentor and motivate junior staff.
