We're looking for a Senior Data AI Engineer to join our Data Engineering team and help us design, build, and scale AI features at Filigran. Your mission is to turn real-world security problems into intelligent product capabilities — from ideation to production — in a fully remote, high-trust environment.
You’ll work closely with our VP of Data Engineering and cross-functional teams (product, engineering, research) to bridge cutting-edge research with real user impact.
Design and prototype ML models and AI features (e.g. Named Entity Recognition for CTI extraction)
Translate concepts into PoCs and MVPs to validate value, by measuring performance
Maintain and improve our growing AI/ML pipelines
Contribute to the growth of our enterprise data platform
Collaborate closely with engineers to ensure smooth downstream integration into our products
Ensure code quality, reliability and test automation via reviews and collaboration
Conduct technical watch and apply state-of-the-art practices
Report directly to the VP of Data Engineering
Collaborate with Software Engineers, Product Managers, and community contributors
Work closely with the Engineering team on deployment, monitoring, and continuous improvement
You’ve already trained and deployed machine learning models in production environments
Proficient in Python, and familiar with its full-stack usage (packaging, logging, FastAPI)
Strong autonomy: you can take a scoped project and drive it independently in an async first environment
Solid understanding of software engineering best practices: versioning, code reviews, pair programming
Product-oriented mindset: you care about UX, data value, and user outcomes
Bonus if you have:
Experience working remotely
Appetite for technical leadership or mentoring
Familiarity with Docker / Kubernetes
Experience with Agentic use cases
Experience in the cybersecurity industry
